This product is lightweight and very easy to store as well as use. It has settings that are very easy to program/intuative settings. The magic of this product is, it will steam a meal with different foods that need to be cooked at different temperatures/durations, by simply setting the parameters on the front panel, ( eg: First section...fresh broccoli 12 minutes, second section Salmon 15 minutes, third section squash 14 minutes) adding the water to the reservior and closing the lids. (The steamer cooks the longest timed food product first, then automatically starts the next food etc)The steamer alerts you when all of the foods are cooked and EVEN automatically keeps the meal warm, just in case you are watching the Super Bowl and need more time to watch! What could be better?

I am thrilled with the potential of this product, however upon first use it is malfunctioning and I'm waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. It is a fairly large countertop appliance. The reason I selected it though is that it has 3 separate compartments - one large and two medium, placed side by side so separate foods steam separately. The large middle compartment is not working upon my first try using the steamer. It blinks and beeps when trying to set the timer. I managed to cook my dinner last night using the two medium sized outer compartments and it worked quickly and efficiently. If I can get it to work for all three compartments I will rate this as 5 star.
