c1256 from Michigan, Rating:5.0If you use a lot of rice in your house, this is a "must have". I only wish it came in Stainless Steel!

nina5050 from Texas, Rating:5.0I had a great experience with the rice cooker, and, I love it. I chose this specific cooker because of the brown rice setting. I read the directions carefully. I followed the directions to the letter, and, had the most perfect rice. There was a eensy-weensey bit of burn, the size of my finger tip. Accually, I needed my glasses to see it. I had great results, and I am totally happy/thrilled with this product/appliance.

atouchofsimple from Seattle WA, Rating:5.0I have owned two rice cookers previously; the first was old and free and worked like a charm until it finally gave up the ghost; the second was about this price range from Target and worked quite well until I had to give it away when I moved. This one wins over either for looks; the flower pattern on the sides is adorable! It seems to cook rice as well as either of my previous ricecookers. It doesn't have any fancy settings; just "cook" or "warm", which is fine for someone who just wants to have rice that isn't burned on the bottom ready in 20 minutes. I appreciate the steamer rack, measuring cup, and rice paddle that came with it. Makes life simple and keeps it that way. Good for household use for the normal household chef.

smulvey from Vestal, NY, Rating:2.0The cooker uses a lot more water to make brown rice that my previous one (which I had for 20 years). It has boiled over with steam and water ending up on the counter. I have figured out how much water to put in (much more than the directions say to) but it is not as good as my old one. I am a little disspointed.
