This rice cooker arrived fast. It makes good rice so far. I gave it a 4 star because it does not have a steam tray.

This is a great rice cooker for the price. The lid is heavy and the product is of good quality. It is a bit messy while the rice is cooking because there is only one small vent hole in the lid but other than that its great!.

Our old rice cooker finally died, and I bought the Black & Decker. It's hard to get excited about a rice cooker, but this one is great. The pot is nonstick, so no crunchies on the bottom if you forget butter or oil. Pretty foolproof and doesn't take up too much storage space. Great value.

It is my first one, and I feel like it is Just Okay. I don't cook that much of rice, but thought it would be nice to have one for quick side dishes if needed.

This rice cooker works great! It's great for hot and sticky rice for sushi! We're from Hawaii where rice is a staple and this rice cooker cooks rice that tastes just like back home! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves their rice hot and sticky not like the stove top rice.

Perfect rice cooker for my needs: small, easy to store since I won't use it daily. Stainless steel matches my kitchen appliances. Makes perfect rice which cooks in a snap compared to cooking rice on the stove. Love it!

I got this for my sister as a gift so I am writing what she told me. She LOVES it. For a family of 4 or more, this is a great rice cooker. No having to worry about watching the stove and great for when she make home made sushi rolls. Overall a perfect 10

After using a cheaper rice cooker that spewed out water, I was hesitant to buy a new rice cooker. I read all the reviews on Overstock and decided to buy this one, even though it was a bit pricey. After using this rice cooker frequently over the past six months:* The rice cooker still works, no burned out heating unit, or lights that don't work.* All the times I've used this cooker, the rice is cooked well---not too overdone or hard.* The rim of the rice cooker is difficult to clean up after letting the rice cooker set. I would recommend cleaning the rim of the pot asap to avoid getting a sticky crust on the rim.* To cook brown rice, add a ratio of 2:1 of water to rice, compared to cooking white or jasmine rice. This will vary according to how you like your rice cooked. One reviewer noted to soak brown rice overnight, which I haven't tried yet. This rice cooker has worked great for these past six months and I highly recommend it.

I really like the locking lid. It does not let as much gummy steam out as my last rice cooker did. I cooked rinsed, white rice and it cooked to perfection!
