I bought this for my granddaughter to take to college. It's the perfect size for her and she is very pleased with the product.

Love this steamer! It works GREAT. It steams really fast [different times for different foods] and the food tastes so good. So far, I have steamed apples, pears, peaches, broccoli, red pepper, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, fish, etc., and everything tasted great. My 6 year-old daughter is eating her veggies every day!!!

This worked perfectly for about a month. After that, water would collect in the lid and dribble down as soon as you popped it open. Cleaning it is a pain. Would not recommend this to someone I hated.

Looks nice, performs well, bonus steamer

I bought this because my little 4 cup rice cooker was looking pretty raggedy (and I had enough O points to get it for free). This is a great medium capacity rice cooker, fits in the cupboard nicely, and has a removable steamer basket. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I put the pot in the dishwasher (not sure if you should or not), and it got clean, but now it looks kind of old. Didn't seem to affect it's usability or anything, though. One caveat, (not a negative though) is that you have to make at least 4 cups of rice. i put in two cups of quinoa and it just sat there looking up at me expectantly, waiting for the other two cups. It doesn't cook less than 4 cups.

  • Perfect rice cooker for the minimalist

Perfect rice cooker for my needs: small, easy to store since I won't use it daily. Stainless steel matches my kitchen appliances. Makes perfect rice which cooks in a snap compared to cooking rice on the stove. Love it!
