I was surfing the web for a makeup mirror that was high in quality but was reasonably priced. This item was located on Overstock. I researched the item before I purchased it, and Rialto is one of the top brands for this type of product. Upon receipt of the item, it came fully assembled - just needed to be plugged in. For me, the makeup mirror was perfect. The magnification and lighting were what I was shopping for. If you are looking for a makeup mirror that has two sides: regular mirror and a magnification mirror - then do not buy this item. It has only the magnification. I love it! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

i have a few of the other mirrors they sell and we love them all...this one is in the guest bathroom and guests are shocked at how great it is.

Looked at several models in the BBB store and elsewhere. I can see without my glasses. The light is much brighter than anything I tested. Very sturdy, nice chrome finish, has a line switch to turn on and off.

It's hard to find a 7X magnifying mirror so I was very happy to see this one on Overstock. It's great for what I needed.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT. OVERALL IT WAS BULKY AND BIG IN SIZE. NOT EASY TO HANDLE OR ASSEMBLE. THE QUALITY OF THE MIRROR ITSELF DID NOT LIVE UP TO ITS DESCRIPTION. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.

This mirror is heavy, big and well-made. If you are extremely near-sighted, this will definitely help you putting on your eye makeup and tweezing your brows. I never knew I had all those tiny hairs!! DO NOT GET THIS MIRROR IF YOU HAVE NORMAL VISION!! The magnification will be much too strong for anyone who doesn't need strong prescription eyeglasses.

I read the reviews before purchasing this mirror and I am glad I did. The recommendations were to not go with a power greater than 7x if I wanted to use it for makeup. 7x is perfect. For some reason I thought there were two sides to this mirror (no) but I didn't need two sides so this was not a problem. I have no problem adjusting the tilt of the mirror (as some do).

Great way to put on eyeliner! I can really see to put the liner where I want it. The only thing I don't like is that you have use a screw driver to adjust the mirror angle, instead of just turning it.

This mirror is exactly as described and it works well. I like it very much. I use it in addition to a regular mirror.

I purchase this item for my wife who's also serving out here in Iraq for her birthday. She had purchase a more expensive mirror, but it was broken before she could use it from another web site and company, so I decided to search around and this was the best bang for the buck. The mirror is perfect for what she needs out here. The only trouble that I had was that Overstock could not send this item straight to an APO address, so I had to send it to a family member and then had it forward to here. But other than the shipping, great product from Overstock and value. thanks

I really like it. Great for makeup and eyebrows. Not for fixing hair. Just what I wanted. Nice quality, nice product.

This is a fine mirror, but does not compare to another mirror I had, which broke when I dropped it. It will do, but I'd like to fine one with a brighter light.

The chrome mirror is handsome, heavy and of excellent quality. The magnification is not at all distorted. Because of the extreme 7X magnification, it is not useful for full-face viewing, but that is a trade-off I was willing to make. In good daylight, I do not even use the halo light.

The magification, optic quality, and lighting on this mirror are great. It is a great value.

I guess this mirror would be fine if you're very nearsighted, but you have to get your face so close to it to avoid the distortion from the high magnification that it was useless for anything but plucking fine eyebrow hairs! At that distance, you can only see one eye at a time, so not much use for makeup. Apparently from the instructions, this mirror is available with variable or lesser magnification, but not on this model. Also, it was kind of clunky, and the angle wasn't easily adjustable. For the price, I'd want these features, plus variable lighting to mimic daylight and evening.

This mirror works! The standing height is perfect, the lighting is excellent and the on/off switch on the cord, easy.

I love the look of this mirror and the lighting is great. I do agree w/ another reviewer that the magnification is too much (5x would be just fine). The product is well-made and was packaged securely.

This is the best Magnifying Cosmetic Mirror I have ever purchased. I have received many compliments on how perfect my makeup was applied, that is since using this product. I would highly recommend this Magnifying Lighted Vanity Mirror to friends and relatives.

The mirror is great. I like the style and it doesn't take up much space. The only thing that concerns me is I think the light is too bright. One night I used it in a darkened room and I saw bright circles in my eyes, didn't matter if my eyes were closed or opened. I saw giant circles like the light around the mirror. Since then I rarely turn the light on and if I do I only use it in a bright room.
