This comforter is: (1) scratchy, (2) shiny, (3) ugly, and (4) smells. I would NEVER use this product. Don't buy it. You will be sorely disappointed.

I bought this item for my son for a Christmas gift. Having ordered from Overstock before, I neglected to check the item before putting it under the tree. Unfortunatley, the wrong color was delivered, I had ordered the purple and lavender one. As it was a gift, I did not send it back, and although the wrong color for the bedroom, it is keeping my son nice and warm and he is not complaining.

Great buy. Warm and comfortable. Color being purple is not an issue because it is in a guys's bedroom. It isn't packed full of down, so it's not real puffy looking. I didn't expect it to be. I received exactly what I expected and it works for me.

The color was a good match for my son's bedroom and the price was great. But when it arrived it had a shiny appearance to it. It seems to be comfortable so we decided to keep it. I wouldn't order it again not sure why the fabric is so shiny the picture on the Overstocks website was deceiving - they should have mentioned in the description that it has a shiny finish.

I bought this comforter in the lavender/purple shade for my daughter. I was surprised at the high sheen of the fabric, it's almost metallic. At first, I thought the material was a little rough, but after month it feels just fine. A good buy!

I bought this to go in my personal bedroom. My colors are tan, brick red, and chocolate. The colors are perfect but it is shiny. The red side kind of looks like cheap leather and the tan side is almost golden. It matches but just looks off because most of my fabrics are very rich. Egyption cotton sheets, velvet curtains, etc. It is fluffy and comfortable but the material is a bit on the rough almost scratchy side. I'm not disappointed enough to return it but in this case, you get what you pay for.
