      I searched a long time to find a pull down clothes rod that would be very strong and this is the best one. I am extremely pleased with it. Now I can store clothes on shelves that are easily reached because the hanging things are up and out of the way. I had this installed next to the closet tower and keep shirts on the pull down rod and pants on the rod in the tower. It pulls down easily but not too fast and glides back in place with little effort. I don't have a lot of strength or ability to reach up but I can manage this with no problem.

      Works just like described. Very satisfied except the pull down lever is not adjustable like our other units.

    • great space saver

      This is a great way to get extra hanging space in a closet. It works well. No complaints. I was concerned that the mechanism might not go back up and hold well. But it is very strong. Someone complained it was difficult to pull down. I did not find that to be a problem. I do think that one needs to keep lighter weight clothing on it and keep heavier clothing on a regular lower rod.

      I have really tall closets and these were a great solution to use space that otherwise would not be accessible. I would suggest buying the heavy duty ones (it's surprising how heavy clothes are).
