ALTHOUGH I LOVE THE QUILT, THE SIZING INFO IS INCORRECT. THE QUEEN IS FOR FULL-QUEEN, WHICH IS SMALLER THAN DIMENSIONS GIVEN. AT 90 BY 90. IT ACTUALLY IS 86 BY 86..IF YOU HAVE A THICK MATTRESS IT WILL NOT COVER THE BED, GO WITH THE KING.
At first this quilt felt a little more rough than I'd like, but after a few washes it's quite comfortable. Great color pattern, but I actually prefer the reverse-side color combo... just wish the shams could have come in the reverse-side pattern as well.Love the whole set though, and the only reasons all categories didn't get 5 stars is because there were a few loose/not fully-sewn threads... but a quick nip with the scissors took care of those, and because it'd have been nice to see the backside of the shams with the same quilted fabric instead of just rough cotton.Overall a great product, at what I felt was a great price!!
I had seen this exact same quilt and shams in a local department store and wanted to get it for my grandson's bedroom. I was hoping it would go on sale, and when I saw the quilt on overstock I was delighted. The department store did put it on sale...the quilt alone was on sale for $68.00...also,I received a catalog from JCP that featured the same quilt and shams on sale for over $100.00. The quality is great and the quilt is the perfect weight. The set is without a doubt a great buy!!
I ordered the RetroChic quilt set in blue and it's very nice! The overall quality (feel, appearance, and comfortable weight) is great. The blues are a denim-color and the reverse stripe is nice, too. I bought it to use during the winter months with a down comforter, but it'll be great for the warmer months as well. I also have the dark red set on my guest bed and it's a nice color, too.
