Very pretty but doesn't whistle!
Like all the other reviews have mentioned, this teapot is smaller than a regular full-size, so make sure to check the dimensions before purchasing. It's not teeny tiny but it is a smaller than average teapot. IT DOESN'T WHISTLE! I don't regret buying it because it does the job (it heats water), it looks so cute in my kitchen and it hasn't chipped or anything like my last one (though I make sure not to keep it on heat past #5 on my stovetop burner since other reviews mentioned it could chip on higher heat), but I am a very forgetful person so me having a teapot that doesn't whistle isn't the best. I've left it on way too long several times since purchasing it a couple weeks ago.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is perfect - it's so cute in my kitchen I love looking at it.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality seems good so far, except that it doesn't whistle. I followed the advice on the other reviews and haven't had it on heat past #5 on my stovetop burner so I can't tell you if it chips in high heat cuz I've been trying to avoid that at all costs.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not that accurate since it said it would whistle but doesn't at all.

Brightens Up My Kitchen
This is a quick heating tea kettle and looks great in my kitchen of blue and yellow. Believe me, I searched a long time in all the stores (WalMart, Tareg, Kohls, Sears, etc.) and NO yellow tea kettle to be found. Overstock not only had this one but many to choose from and in the color I wanted.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The only thing I'd change is the size. The 2 quart does fine, but I probably should have gotten a bigger size.

disappointed
Looks great but does not have a handle that can be picked up without a mitt. Chips very easily so you have to be very careful. I would not recommend this to friends. Only used it about a month then had to buy another one some place else.

Cute and mostly functional
Nice shape, cute color, handles well. However, I have some difficulty getting the lid off to fill the kettle; it's too tight, and sometimes I lose patience and fill it through the spout. But it's such a cute kettle, I'm keeping it anyway.
