Tea kettle is nice, but would prefer whistling kind. The lid is difficult to remove, in fact, I often refill by pouring water down the spout. Color on site is lighter than actual color.

The tea kettle is quite attractive, but pretty useless if you have a ceramic stove. Directions state that you can only heat on low to medium. Takes quite a while to boil water on low and I hate tepid tea!! Wish I had known this before I purchased it.

this is a cute little tea kettle, old-fashioned looking, and does the job. It doesn't take long to reach a boil, and it's made well. However, it doesn't whistle, so if you want one that does, this isn't it.

The teakettle is just the right size for a couple. It is heavy weight and a very pretty color of blue. Also the handle stays in the upright position very well. I also wanted a teapot that did not whistle, as I like to use it to put a little moisture into the air in the mornings.
