Reston Lloyd Calypso Basics 7-quart Lemon Colander

As per other reviews, this colander is very classy, a great bargain and is fabulous for washing large amounts of garden vegetables and fruits from the store. The sunny lemon color really perks up my kitchen, too.

I am not a big fan of the color yellow, but needed a metal colander and the yellow one was nearly half the price of others in this line. One reviewer said something to the effect that it was a nice shade of yellow so I took a chance ~ and it is a pretty lemon like color, not neon, just lemon-like ~ and I love my new colander! Not only that, but it is HUGE! Bigger than I realized it would be, it just fits into one of our old-fashioned 1960s double bowl sink. Great for big pasta dinners and will get a work out during canning season, too. My husband, who also loves to cook, also likes it ~ and now, we will look for two of the smaller sizes to round out our collection. This is pretty enough to hang on the wall, which is probably what we will do as it takes up so much cupboard space! NOTE: As long as the enamel is not chipped, these will last nearly forever, so a little care in handling them will go a long, long way.

This ia a great product ! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a colander, especially for the price. I was looking for another color, but the appearance is a nice yellow ( was just looking for one with a pattern on it, etc.) . DON'T pass this up!
