My complaints are two. I came without the screw to hold the umbrella in so luckily another umbrella stand had one that fit so now the other stand just has one screw and not two. Umbrella stands should have two screws and most do. This one only has one which means you cannot make the umbrella steady. For the money, this is a dumb error on their part. It is super heavy though. Being so heavy it's not something easy to return or I would have. Order another stand. Yes, this one gives you color choices for the base and if tha'ts important, than this one is acceptable but not my first choice anymore. Oh, if you do not cut your umbrella pole down like I had to and you put your umbrella all the way down into the stand, it will be more steady than mine so part of the wobble complaint I mentioned is my fault, not the stand's fault. But I've had to cut down every umbrella I've ever gotten so if I have had to do that, you might also

I was really looking forward to the delivery of the umbrella stand. The description is "resin" and the color I picked was white. I was so disappointed when I opened the package and the product was actually the color and texture of brown beach sand. It looks and feels like someone went to the beach and took a mold to make a casting. Chunks of sand had also cracked off of the bottom during shipping. DO NOT buy this product if you want the base to be white.

The only reason I would not recommend this or any heavy product is the items are not protected in a shipping box. The base is Great, BUT it was delivered in the original product box only. There was no shipping box to protect this heavy product from destroying the box and item in transit. The base was just slightly damaged and two small parts were missing. I was able to rig something to by-pass the missing parts. I love overstock but will not buy anything heavy.

I own a restaurant on the coast of Maine with outside seating. It can get a bit breezy . :) Made a big differents, wish I would have bought them sooner.

Great heavy base, has worked great. It comes with an insert so if your umbrella pole is thin, it will work well. The umbrella I bought is a tight squeeze into the base/holder, but otherwise works well. Worth the money.

If this stand moves, it's the least of my worries. It's attractive and VERY heavy. I bought the stand when I bought the 11 ft. umbrella, and neither is budging. They look great together, and I enjoy the shade almost every evening.

After 2 years, the base is still working although it has faded about 50% - however, it's in the Texas sun every day! I am pleased with my purchase and the price was good.

Friends of ours have two of your umbrellas and were very happy with them. We needed to purchase an umbrella and stand for our patio. I was impressed with our friends umbrella, so I decided to order both an umbrella and stand from you. I am very happy that I did.

Colors on computer differ somewhat from actual product, but was not off enough to be upsetting. I'd purchase this again.

Several small holes in first package that came. Unit was missing a screw. Overstock mailed me a second complete package with screw, when all I wanted was the screw. The unit is very heavy and should hold steady in the winds. I did also buy an umbrella which matches the color in the base.

Great umbrella stand IF you do not have to move it! I would have bought one with wheels had I read the description. As the sun move so does the umbrella so get two umbrellas or a stand with wheels.

Bought this umbrella base over 2 years ago! Still using it and are on our 4th umbrella! The base has held up MUCH better than the umbrellas we've bought. :) We purchased a black base so it would be "neutral" and go with any color umbrella. It is very heavy and has faded a little over the years. Wish we could find an umbrella worthy of this base! I compared a LOT of prices for these bases and this is a VERY good deal.

Nice heavy umbrella base. Color was what I expected. Directions not real clear although I did figure where everything went. Today is very breezy and umbrella is not coming out of base. We're very happy with this produce so far.

This umbrella base is well worth the price. It allows me to place it under the table and also have a stand alone. The quality is superior and it is very heavy. You can tell that is will stand the weather for many years.

Very happy with the quality of this stand. Heavy duty, well made. Packaging could be better!

This base is heavy. The UPS guy delivered it to my front door and it was an effort to carry it around back. Also an effort to wrestle it into exactly the right position under the table. But now that it's there, it looks nice, way better than the flimsy plastic fill-with-water type bases I see all the time. My umbrella hasn't moved an inch since I put it there. I got the dark brown color and it doesn't show any dirt or mildew. I'm just not looking forward to having to move it into the garage for the winter. It's heavy! Also, make sure before you buy this that it's big enough around to fit your umbrella pole. It should be, and it comes with some plastic fitters in case your umbrella pole is smaller, but it would be a shame to buy this and have to pay to ship it back.

Got an email at the beginning of the month(August) never received...it is now 8/25.

Ordering online and reading other reviews, is hard and you are not always sure what you may get. But I was really happy with this purchase. Where we live in IOWA I havce nothing to protect my patio so this base in my opinion was a very good buy. And something else that many people had pointed out when purchasing a base was how many had to send back their base because it could not accomadate the umbrella pole diameter. This had different size adapters that I could take out to fit whatever size diameter pole I have, very nice.

I'm happy with this base. It is heavy and think it will be very durable. The rubber band around the edge of the base did pop off when I was rolling it into place, but was able to slip it back on easily enough.
