I ordered this stand to help stabilize the umbrella I also purchased from overstock. My table has a hole for an umbrella, so I was hoping that this stand would provide the additional support needed to keep it from moving around in the wind. Honestly, I thought this stand would do a better job of holding the umbrella in place when the wind picks up at my house, so for this reason I gave it 3 stars. The stand does come with two plastic inserts (that can be removed) if the pole on your umbrella isn't as thick as it needs to be to fit in this stand. I didn't have to use either of the inserts but this is a nice feature just in case the next umbrella I purchase doesn't quite fit.

The stand went together easily and is sturdy enough to hold the 10' umbrella. Note - at first I thought the umbrella's post was too large for the stand, but after my morning coffee I realized there was a removable insert in the stand. When I removed the insert the umbrella fit like a glove. Love it!

The umbrella stand is heavy/sturdy and works well for the umbrella I ordered. HOWEVER: The mustard yellow shown in the picture online is VERY different from the color of the stand in person. In fact, I would never call this umbrella stand yellow at all. It exactly matches my husband's college apparel, which is burnt orange. I'm really disappointed with this product because I would have ordered a different color or brand or something had I known the actual color would be so different than what was shown online. Based on that, I cannot recommend this product because it's not what I thought I was ordering.

The black umbrella stand is heavy and very attractive with the raised roman numerals. Assembly directions contains diagrams only. Words would have been helpful. There is a plastic sizing insert which allows the use of umbrellas with poles of varying diameters.

Highly recommend. Attractive stand will compliment your deck or pool area.

I wanted something to hold down the umbrella's, as we get gusts of wind.These are so heavy and well made. Don't have to fill with water or sand. They have rubber on the bottom so won't come in contact with deck. I'm happy.

This was beautiful and heavy. We have had it now one year and I am still loving it. The only glich is that it faded. I was not prepared for that.........but other than that. An excellent product. I would purchase another one.

Purchased these with expectations, and they were met. They look really nice on my pool deck. They are solid and decorative and very few areas that could rust in the FL weather.

This umbrella stand is a good weight to keep my umbrella sturdy. I can still move the stand if needed but it is solid enough to stay put. My umbrella is free standing and this stand keeps is secure. I also like the design, it adds a little something. I purchased the dark brown and am very happy with it.

I had been looking for the right patio table and umbrella for a few months and found that this went well with my beautiful patio table also purchased through overstock.com. I was worried that it would not be heavy enough but, realized that it works just fine.

I wanted the heaviest stand I could get due to the high winds in my area and I believe this is it. It live in the country and it's quite an open area. The stand w/umbrella sits on a raised deck so is hit with wind from all sides. The umbrella has fallen over during very high winds on one occasion hitting the rail of my deck and came away without one bit of damage. No dents, no scrapes nor scratches on the pole of the umbrella which by the way was also purchased here. It's as if the stand simply layed it against the railing. The stand itself never moved. I am extremely pleased with this purchase by not having succumbed to a lesser model.

We purchased this to hold an umbrella in a very windy area. It is nice and heavy and thus far has done the trick

I purchased this for my back patio. I live a short stroll from the beach and we get ocean wind. The umbrella stand broke the second month I had it. It is too heavy to bother with returning.

Shipped very quickly, but arrived with a large slab-shaped piece broken off. We just glued it and touched up the paint - but it the concrete / resin construction definitely seems fragile. The multiple sleeves for various sizes of umbrella poles work great, however, and if it was a tad sturdier I would definitely recommend it.

Stand is heavy and sturdy but the first time we rolled it to another place, the rubber siding on the base came off. was a chore to put it back, so now we roll it very carefull or pick it up - be careful, though, it is heavy. was delievered very promptly, even before the umbrella arrived.

I love this umbrella stand. It is heavy and easy to assemble. It has a rough sandy finish so scratches would be impossible to see. I bought an umbrella to go along with it but the umbrella is orange and not terra cotta as indicated so the stand and umbrella don't match. But as always, Overstock, sent my order quickly. Great service!
