As soon as I washed them the sateen feel went away, BUT they are still soft and with repeated washings will get softer. They do feel smooth and that's what I like. When I took them out of the dryer, they were hardly wrinkled at all, which is a big plus because who feels like ironing sheets. For the money they are a good buy. They are also true to their color.
I love these sheets! They look and feel like more expensive high thread count linens. I purchased the stripe set in black. I was also most pleasantly surprised to find how well they went with the Regency duvet cover I also purchased. You simply can't beat this price for soft and attractive sheets.
this product was perfect for my bed.... queen size is a bit large for my taste and fit loosely but overall i love the look and how it ties in with my microfiber bed spread. these sheets dont feel like cotton, they are more satin meets cotton and boy oh boy are they wonderful! a must have in my book!
