great design, but carafe is fragile
The coffee maker itself is well built, stylish, and looks way nicer on the counter than its cheesy plastic peers. The back part where you add water lifts out, so you can fill it directly in the sink instead of pouring from the carafe. My only complaint is the fragility of the carafe. We don't know if it was broken when it arrived, or if we broke it taking it out of the package, but the spout on the carafe was chipped from the get go. We liked the maker so much, we decided not to worry about it, but a week later, the whole thing shattered. We are planning on buying a replacement part, but this will make it much less of a good deal.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? the panels on the side of ours arrived in a clear-ish glass color instead of black, which we actually liked better
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Generally well made. Make mostly of metal and glass. The carafe is the most fragile and broke easily

cannot pour without spilling
the machine as a coffee maker is good. but coffee pot is terrible... I cannot pour coffee without spilling.

Nice looking, works well
A nice looking coffee maker that works great and definitely worth the refurbished price I paid. I just wish it automatically shut off after an hour or so in case I forget to turn it off myself. So far that hasn't been a problem, though.
