Since I always have a problem when it comes to storing the hose, this is ideal since it is self-retracting. It just requires a tug and the mechanism retracts the hose and all you do is to guide it. When I ordered this item it came in a different color that what is shown in the picture. I called customer service to arrange for a return and to send me a replacement in the black color I had ordered. They assured me that I would get the right color the second time around. When the replacement order arrived, it was the same color as the one I had returned; apparently they don't have the color that they feature in the photo. By then, I did not see the point in returning the item for a second time since there was no guarantee that I would get the right color the third time around! So I decided to keep the hose even though I am not happy about the color. Also, the picture is is misleading in how deep the item is. In the photo it looks very streamlined but in actuality, the hose unit is more bulky. Since I need the functionality of the self-retracting hose, I have to overlook the appearance.

works like charm just wish the hose was bigger 5/8in verses 1/2in
