Reed and Barton Woodbury 110-piece Flatware Set

Never dreamed this flatware would be of such a good quality and hefty weight! Superb buy and bargain for sure. Worthy of a wedding gift...inexpensive enough to give a face-lift to a tired table setting. Impressive collection of serving pieces, too.

I wasn't sure about this at first because it wasn't 18/10 (which I was told was supposed to be better). I returned a set of 18/10 to my local dept store after 2 weeks because the knife blades were coming out of the dishwasher with small rust spots! I haven't had even one rust spot from this set. All of the extra pieces are fabulous. It's the first time I''ve ever set the table with ALL pieces that match. The pieces are sturdy and feel like real quality.

my daughter was using the silverware she got when she got married, but she made a mistake when she picked them out and now hates them. she told me that she liked my plain everyday silverware and wanted me to pick out something for her. since she was ditching the set from her wedding she needed all the pieces! this set worked out great she loves the simple lines (her last set was to "fancy") she loves the weight and her husband, who actually does the cooking in her house, is thrilled with all of the serving pieces. In fact once he found out that i had selected and ordered a new set of silver for them with serving pieces included he started to get antsy waiting. kind of reminded me of a little kid. he is very very pleased with the purchase:) he loves the steak knives and all of the teaspoons that come with this set. they both put them in the dishwasher, and they are both spoiled rotten. these stay shiny, they don't have to do anything else. for spoiled people keeping shiny things shiny is very important. so don't worry if you are spoiled and like shiny things these will work out great, no scratchy fuzziness in the shine and so far no water spots. i have to say that though i am very pleased with this set it is the steak knives that really set it apart for me, love them.

The flatwear is a great purchase. The weight of the pieces is nice and the numerous pieces makes this a very special gift. My daughter was very pleased with it. and she immediately put it to us. The pattern is simple but very pretty and will go well with any place setting.
