I was so thrilled when I got the Reed & Barton Woodbury flatware! I needed new flatware for a Thanksgiving dinner I was hosting and my personal flatware is mismatched. I needed new flatware at a cheap price. I was very skeptical about buying this set online because I was sure the quality might not be as nice as was pictured. Boy, was I wrong. Not only is this set beautifully crafted, they are also very sturdy and good restaurant quality. My table looked great with the new flatware and my mother was just happy I wasn't using the mismatched, so everything turned out great. I HIGHLY recommend this Reed & Barton set at the fantastic price!

This is a quality set and usually sells for a lot more $$$$! It comes out of the dishwasher looking good as new. These pieces are not thin at all !

The look & feel of the flatware is on par with pricier sets. I had been trying to purchase the same Oneida flatware that my parents use for day-to-day but it had been discontinued. In doing a side by side comparison this set matched up. The overall look is elegant without going over the top. The pieces are heavy but not overbearing. I have been using this flatware for over a year now but have found several problems. My biggest issues is how they handle in the dishwasher. I find a lot of stuck on food especially the knives. I'm not one to rinse off flatware before tossing it in the dishwasher. The other issue is rust stains that accumulate during the wash/dry cycle. Although the rust will come off in the sink it's still annoying & time consuming. I find myself washing these pieces by hand in order to avoid having to rewash. The manufacturer does recommend this method over dish-washing. I was hoping to get a no-nonsense everyday quality flatware set but find these require more of my time than I'd like. I was surprised to see so many favorable reviews. If not for the extra care I would have rated higher. P.S. I've tried several different brands of dishwasher soaps & nothing seems to make it any easier.

Never dreamed this flatware would be of such a good quality and hefty weight! Superb buy and bargain for sure. Worthy of a wedding gift...inexpensive enough to give a face-lift to a tired table setting. Impressive collection of serving pieces, too.

I wasn't sure about this at first because it wasn't 18/10 (which I was told was supposed to be better). I returned a set of 18/10 to my local dept store after 2 weeks because the knife blades were coming out of the dishwasher with small rust spots! I haven't had even one rust spot from this set. All of the extra pieces are fabulous. It's the first time I''ve ever set the table with ALL pieces that match. The pieces are sturdy and feel like real quality.

my daughter was using the silverware she got when she got married, but she made a mistake when she picked them out and now hates them. she told me that she liked my plain everyday silverware and wanted me to pick out something for her. since she was ditching the set from her wedding she needed all the pieces! this set worked out great she loves the simple lines (her last set was to "fancy") she loves the weight and her husband, who actually does the cooking in her house, is thrilled with all of the serving pieces. In fact once he found out that i had selected and ordered a new set of silver for them with serving pieces included he started to get antsy waiting. kind of reminded me of a little kid. he is very very pleased with the purchase:) he loves the steak knives and all of the teaspoons that come with this set. they both put them in the dishwasher, and they are both spoiled rotten. these stay shiny, they don't have to do anything else. for spoiled people keeping shiny things shiny is very important. so don't worry if you are spoiled and like shiny things these will work out great, no scratchy fuzziness in the shine and so far no water spots. i have to say that though i am very pleased with this set it is the steak knives that really set it apart for me, love them.

The flatwear is a great purchase. The weight of the pieces is nice and the numerous pieces makes this a very special gift. My daughter was very pleased with it. and she immediately put it to us. The pattern is simple but very pretty and will go well with any place setting.

I've only had the flatware for about two weeks and it is beautiful. Nice weight and very comfortable in the hand. The value is superb.

I bought this set for my son and daughter-in-law, they needed flatware in the worst way. They did not want anything heavy, to fancy..... But once they got the Reed and Barton set they loved it. I had told them how well made and elegant, plus what a good buy this was. I have owned my Reed and Barton set for years and paid a lot more for it. This is a great value for this set. They are very happy with it and can entertain more.

I purchased this set as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her husband. Despite the delivery delay caused by the storm that hit the Pacific Northwest, their gift arrived before the New Year. They have indicated to me that they are extremely happy with their new flatware and all the additional serving pieces. If they're happy, I'm happy.

I am soooo glad I purchased this set. It is a quality product. Love the number of pieces in the set. It is nice and heavy, washes up real nice and looks wonderful. My husband even commented how nice this set is and he never comments on anything!!! Best purchased I have ever made and I am very satisfied with this set. If you are thinking about getting this set but just aren't sure, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

This set is beautiful. It can be used for formal or casual dinners. Sturdy steak and butter knives. Extra serveware is a plus! All items there and shipping was quick. Found same set elsewhere for atleast 50%-70% more....I could not believe it! This is a gift and I can not wait to give it.
