I wanted pasta bowls to compliment a set I already have. They are a nice size for pasta, stew or stir-fry. They have a sort of off-white look with the rice pattern. I was hoping they would be brighter white, as I have a bone china set that doesn't have a pasta bowl available, only a cereal bowl. I actually wish I had bought an entire set of the Red Vanilla instead... but oh well. I am very happy with these.

    Bought a set for myself last year and this year, I bought a set for my son and family. Lovely bowls with an unusual shape and nice pattern on interior of bowl. Well made and does not chip or crack in over a year's worth of washing. Always get compliments when I use them and bought the set for my son as he always admired them when he used them at my house. Now he enjoys his own for pasta and salad both. Highly recommend this item.

    Great size for serving pasta...not too deep & wide enough 9". Color is neutral (tone on tone off white) with a nice quiet design. Shape is square/round...and sits nice on a dinner plate. they feel sturdy but not too heavy. Hope they will perform nice!
