The appearance is great and I have received many compliments on this dinnerware. Plates and mugs are with standing daily use; I don't feel that I'm working with a fragile plate/mug when I'm handling them.

I love these dishes! I had purchased some other dishes that would get extremely hot in the microwave, so I got these. They are perfect for microwave to table use. The color is quite simple yet quite elegant.

The dishes arrived earlier than the estimated arrival date. They were in perfect condition, only one bowl was broken out of the entire set (I ordered 3 sets).These dishes are gorgeous. They are heavy and durable. They are suitable for everyday, or casual dining. I used them for Thanksgiving dinner and dressed them up a little with a fancy table cloth and silver. If you are looking for fancy dishes, these won't be suitable, but they will work if you are looking more for everyday and casual elegance.I have ordered many times from Overstock and have not been disappointed yet!

I love these dishes. They are beautiful and are nicely made. I would definitely buy another set.

I purchased 2 sets of these dishes since the price was so good! They are fabulous! One box was perfect; no broken dishes; the 2nd box had some chipped plates; mug; salad plate, but I was able to get online right away and chat with one of the agents who was very helpful and assured me the replacements would be sent out with no problem. They don't even want the broken ones back. Overstock customer service is really good. I would definitely recommend these dishes for everyday use, they are heavy, modern/contemporary; look beautiful on the table; the price was awesome. I compared other 16piece sets and they were over $200+.

I have a 5 year old and she always eats off of this set. If this dinnerware can withstand a childs' eating habits, it is an A+ in my books! Easy to clean and very dishwasher friendly. No complaints here!

The set is very nice and heavy, not thin. It was hard to find gray dishes and these are a med-dark gray with a very dark gray or black edge. The first set I ordered arrived perfect and was packaged well. The second set I ordered arrived with chipped broken bowls, I think usps may have dropped them. They were marked fragile and quality is good so it must have been a serious drop of the package to break them. Overstock immediately sent a new set as replacement. Very good customer service makes buying fragile items easy. I love the dishes.

These dishes were very pretty and the color was beautiful. After reading the reviews, I thought the dinner plates would be large (which we are used to and prefer), but they were just normal size. One thing that really made the decision for us to send them back was that they showed fingerprints badly. I don't like seeing fingerprints on dishes (they don't appear clean) and especially if I'm serving guests. A little larger plates and no fingerprint smudges and these dishes would be perfect!!

These dishes are beautiful. It was difficult finding grey dishes. Once I found these I had to buy them. The weight is as I expected, about average compared to dishes that I have previously owned. This set is very pretty. I am glad I purchased them.

I love this stoneware; I ordered two 4-piece sets. It works great in the dishwasher and hasn't shown any signs of flatware scratching. Also, it doesn't seem to heat up to the touch in the microwave as much as my last set. I gave it a 4 only because I was hoping to spend a bit less, but I do believe it was worth it. Gray is hard to find and this is perfect for my needs. Also, it took longer to ship than the 2 pieces of furniture I ordered at the same time. Otherwise -- GREAT!

The product is very pretty, only one item was chipped out of 2 sets..but overstock replaced it right away. Overall the transaction was smooth. I don't know how the set holds up usage-wise as I have not used them as of yet...but looking forward to it.

These plates are fine, they look great, but the pictures make them look a lot more substantial than they really are. They are about half as thick as they look. They are still fine and my bro-in-law loves them :)

I just received the plates and they look amazing. Not one of them are chipped or damaged, and they really compliment my gray and yellow decor. Lets hope they hold up to use. I'll post another review after a few months of use.

I had been looking for simple gray dishes for years and recently found just what I wanted on Overstock.com. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, and the black band around the edge makes them great for every day as well as dressy enough for company. PERFECT!

The picture is a true representation! The dinner set is a quality set that has a great feel, weight, easy to handle and a great presentation. I am more than satisfied with this purchase even though the price is a bit more than I really would pay for a dinner set. The packaging was exceptionally done and arrived with NO chips or cracks. I ordered these dishes 5 days ago and they are absolutely gorgeous! I had been searching for a new set of dishes that were classy but simple and Iam so pleased to have found them. In fact I love them so much I think I may order another set. They were shipped extremely well, not one piece was chipped or broken!
