I purchased the umbrella for my pool. As usual it arrived quickly and I was anxious to see the color. In my opinion it is more of a rust red, not mauve like the swatch appeared on the order screen. The color was not as important as the quality which seems to be fine. The fabric is on the thin side, but it does well in providing shade. The one thing I would have liked is an attached tie to keep the fabric snug while not in use. Thanks again overstock, another great deal.
COLOR - On the computer screen it looked a little pinkish to me and i was so confused that someone mentioned terracotta....in any case...its a red but definitely has this "hot pink" hue to it...its really not terracotta....its not pink or anything....just a weird red. QUALITY - this is really not that good of quality. the cranking mechanism..the handle...its plastic...i don't see this thing lasting long. this is not heave duty for sure...OVERALL- the size of the umbrella is good. it opens and closes very easily. the tilting option is very useful although i do need to climb the table to tilt the umbrella....but that's the case with all the umbrellas that tilt i think. The fabric is a descent quality. All in all its not a horrible buy...but not a bargain either.
