This mug leaks. I did not like that, as I walk to work, and I put it in my purse, and everything got wet. I then decided to carry it in my hand, and my coffee got cold, and I had to heat it up in the microwave. If you drive to work, then this mug might work for you.

It seems to be well made BUT the rubber tire smell when I opened the package turned me off right away and after a few weeks use the smell is still there. I purchased it because I wanted a cup with a stainless steel interior that would stay sealed and not dribble when slightly tipped. I am still looking. The lid is very hard to get on and off and yet it still leaks a bit at times. This one will suffice if I do not use the lid. Disappointed.

It is impossible to drink out of this mug. The cover has a slide that allows you to open or close the flow of liquid. Push it in one direction and it closes, preventing flow. Push it in the other direction and it opens the flow, The problem is that this slide will not stay in the 'open position' therby restricting all flow and making it very difficult to take sips of hot coffee or tea. Very poor desig. I purchased 2 of these items and had the same experience with both. How do I return them?

We are grandparents and travel frequently. We like to start our day with a hot mug of coffee from a coffee shop wherever we happen to be. I found travel mugs similar to these at a discount outlet several years ago and we loved them. One mug was dropped by our granddaughter and the handle broke off. We reglued it. Then it was dropped again and the handle broke off again. Did extensive internet searches to find a replacement. Other mugs we tried were flimsy or leaked. I was thrilled to find these on Overstock.com! They were more costly than our original mugs, but we have found them worth the extra money! Best part is that the lid does not have to be twisted on and just snaps into place.
