Much larger than they seem in the pix. Comfortable, but big. The first shipment arrived damaged, called customer service and they quickly sent another. The Fedex man was not happy with the size and weight of the product, which is probably how they got damaged. Perhaps sending them via a common carrier would be better.

The product was as described, and the smaller scale was just what I needed for my typical saltbox house's living room; "full size" recliners simply dwarfed the room. The chairs were super-easy to assembly, and comfortable enough for daily use. Plus, the price can't be beat!

Chairs were fairly easy to put together. The massage isn't that great, and I don't like that the heat setting only works with the massage, and you can't just use the heat setting. I do like the reclining and the option to adjust the tension.

We needed a small chair for the home office, and this fits the bill perfectly. It's a classic style in a neutral light beige that will coordinate with any changes over the years. The chair is comfortable, especially when reclined. I find the back a bit too slanted back just for sitting without the reclining mechanism up, but I plan on adding a colorful pillow and I think that will take care of that. It's a firm chair, which I like, but if you want squooshy, this is not it. It's small; not for a big person, but perfect for the small space in which we placed it. When delivered, all we had to do was screw on the feet and slide the back down onto the metal slats. It comes with some plastic disks you can add if it needs to be balanced, but we had no such problem. I would consider purchasing a Christopher Knight product again.

This is a great product and I love the rich dark chocolate color. I did my research before purchasing this recliner. The size it great and comfortable for me and I'm a plus size gal. It's so comfortable you can fall asleep in it after a hard day at work. Its not heavy at all and to set it up took less than 5 minutes. Only problem, the area that lifts your legs up is very hard to come down when your ready to be up right. You will need to get off the recliner then push it in by hand. For the price your paying, under 200. This is a great bargain and product.

I'm a first time mom to an 8-week old baby. For reasons that have nothing to do with this review, I didn't get a rocker/ glider for the nursery, and about 2 weeks ago my back began to pay the price. I have back problems, and the need to constantly rock the baby to calm him or put him to sleep was making my back hurt like crazy. So I made up my mind and decided to buy a glider and ottoman set I had originally intended to buy from a baby store that sort of resembled this one and came highly recommended. But given the fact that there are gliders in the $200-range, and the one I wanted was twice as expensive, I googled it hoping to find a better deal somewhere else. And that's how I came across this one! Now, this was more expensive, but I hadn't thought about the recliner part. Long story short (too late) after much debate I settled for this one, bought it on a Sunday night and received it next Saturday morning! What ultimately made me get this one and not the glider from the baby store was the reclining feature. I'm glad I went with a recliner and not just a glider! I wanted the option of being able to take a nap on the chair. I wish I had had this recliner when I was eight months pregnant and unable to sleep comfortably in my bed! The chair doesn't glide in the reclined position but I don't feel I need it to. It is perfect for nursing. It's narrow enough that the Boppy pillow can be supported on each armrest, but wide enough that my husband who's a big guy sits comfortably in it. It is *incredibly* comfortable. The fabric is microfiber and super soft to the touch; the seat and back are soft but also firm. I was afraid it would be too high off the ground that one would be able to see the bottom support and it wouldn't look nice, but I honestly don't see a problem with it. It's high enough that I will need an ottoman to rock myself though (I'm 5'7") and it doesn't look like this chair has a matching one; I'll have to figure out what to do there. For now I put my legs up indian-style and I can rock back and forth using my own motion, or put my feet up on an exercise ball and rock that way. Delivery was quick and "assembly" was a one-minute job. Just put the back on and you're done! The parts fit easily through my 29" wide doorway. It is a bluer color than the product description shows, but blue happens to be my favorite color and it matches the nursery. I'm absolutely happy with my purchase, so much that I'm writing this review within hours of getting it. My baby has already fallen asleep on me twice in this chair. If for some reason it breaks in the near future I will edit my review, but right now I don't see that happening. It looks sturdy and I'm hoping it will stay with me through future pregnancies and babies. I feel I chose well!

The color is true to the photo and the fabric is a Linen look which is nice. Easy assembly. When you sit on the seat it is very soft and that's noticeable but when you push back to recline, which is not that easy, it has a lovely plush comfortable feel to the chair. The headrest reached above my head and the I got relatively good lumber support. This is a good product for a smaller solution to wanting a recliner. I don't recommend this product for everyday use as it would need regular scotch guard, however for a spare room it's an excellent choice for us and I would definitely purchase this product again.

I had high hopes for this chair as I have a need for a reasonably comfortable SMALL recliner to fit in my family room. The chair is small, but is overly firm yet the cover wrinkles from my 155 pound weight. The chair also is difficult to hold in the full recline position without putting my arms above my head. I am a 5'7" male and fit the chair OK but it will not stay reclined even with 3/4'" spacers under the front legs.. The style is a bit unbalanced as the seat pack widens from the arms to the top and looks out of proportion. The right side angle is larger than the left hand angel so the chair is visually tilting to the right. This is the first product I have purchased through Overstock that I am disappointed in. As usual I discard packaging at the closest pickup day so the hassle of returning is compounded. I am likely not going to purchase any more furniture as I consider this purchase a $150 lesson. It went together easily,

My mom just got back from the hospital. I spent 2 weeks sleeping by her side in a hospital recliner. We were looking for something similar and I found this chair. We bought 2. They came really quickly and they were super easy to assemble. I'm 4'10 and about 135 and I put them together by myself. Each took a little under 10 minutes to assemble. My parents are tiny. My mom is 4'9 and my dad is 5'3. They are both super comfortable in the chairs. If you're over 5'5, and weigh more than 175 you might want a bigger chair but for what we needed, it's perfect. When I was shopping, a big selling point for my mom was that it reclined all the way, and that Peter Brady was selling them lol.. I'm looking at more of his products (Christopher Knight) since we liked the product so much.
