Should not be called Espresso
Overall not bad for the price. The top shelf door is hard to open. If you are looking for a real Espresso color wood. This is NOT it. Thought about returning it because of the color but decided it would be less expensive to lightly sand and stain it myself. Not happy about having to do that to a brand new piece of furniture but it sticks ouit like a sore thumb in my livingroom where all wood pieces are darker, true espresso. I wouold suggest that Overstock call the color walnut to prevent someone else having to deal with this issue.

Real Flame Expresso Electric fireplace
The 2 shipments arrived on schedule and the packaging was protected very well, because the delivery agent probably used hooks or a forklift to move the weighted item, but there was no damage to the contents. The assembly went very smoothly ( around 4 hours), however, things would have gone much smoother, if the mfr (china) would have more clearly identified the 3 different types of screws by placing them in separate packages. I spent at least 1 hour separating the screws, which were almost the same size, but they had different threads. When you have in excess of 60 screws and you have to put them in three categories it becomes a wasted and tireless task. Also, it would have been great if the mfr gave a few extra screws, because I had to go out to purchase more screws due to the fact that the heads broke off when I tried to tighten them. Overall the unit looks great and we are enjoying every minute of the unit.
