    I absolutely love this fireplace. We have a small living room so being able to combine the ambiance of the fireplace with media storage was perfect. My son put it together pretty easily but I could have done it as well. It looks like a high end piece and I am very picky. The remote is great! I can't say it warms the room as quickly as stated, but it does a good job after a 1/2 hour or so. The Real Flame fire definitely looks more real than some I have seen in stores.

  • Some packaging damage.

    I was disappointed that this item came with some packaging damages. The corner of the top piece was slightly crushed, thankfully it is in the back. And there was a hairline crack in the front of the top which I was able to conceal with wood polish. The problem is with such a huge piece, once it's unpacked, what can you really do about returning it??? Anyway, Overstock gave me $$% off the purchase price. Now that it's together, its lovely and the fireplace aspect is very nice and realistic and it really does warm up the living room. Overall, I'm quite happy.

    I am a 64 year old woman with a handy husband, but I decided to try and put this together by myself. It was quite easy! The only thing that needed two people was to get the box in the house and place the top piece in place. It was even nicer than I expected! Love it!
