It has a great natural looking shape. There is some, but not much padding (enough to keep my feet warm). The faux fur is alright, it's soft, but not like a natural hide. It's a great deal for the size and for rawhide rugs, in general.

We were looking for something "different" to compliment the abstract painting we purchased from Overstock.com and my husband really liked this rug when he saw it. It is exactly as described and pictured online. It fits perfectly into our space and really pulls the whole room together. Love it!

A small price to pay for such an attractive, unique rug. The kids and dogs love the feel of this rug and enjoy laying and playing on it. I'm happy with my purchase.

Bought this rug for My Husband's "Man Cave" for under the Pool Table and it looks Fabulous!!! It fits perfectly and you do not have to move the pool table (which may un-level it) because of the shape, it fits around the pool table's legs. Highly recommend and our children love how soft it is.

First time buyer and a little nervous to order over the net, but the price was so good I decided to give it a try. The rug arrived very quickly and looks as described. I love how soft it is and it is a great complement to our "library, " a guest room filled with book shelves and chairs for reading. was really hoping to enjoy this rug after checking on it daily to get the upmost savings...but when it arrived I was suprised by its quality and color. This is my first time buying a rawhide rug and it reminds me of a teddy bear laying on my hardwood floors. It is soft though, I will have to just get used to it.
