I love this rug, especially for the price! The colors aren't quite as rich as they are in the picture, but it is still very pretty. After I took it out of the packaging it took a couple of days for it to lay completely flat.

I LOVE this rug! I bought it to use as a photography prop and it is perfect. I expected the color to be a little different per rug and while it is slightly different, it's still beautiful and perfect. You can hardly tell it's fake and it's actually a lot larger than I expected. Very well made and very soft. Lays flat with no flaws.

We've been looking for a faux hide rug forever so when I checked overstock and saw you carried them I was shocked. After reading the reviews we ordered it and we're so happy we did. This is honestly the best rug!!!

I love this rug! Up close you can tell it's not real, but once it's on the floor and you're looking at it from 5 feet away, you can't tell it's not real. It's very large. Mine had a dirt stripe across the whole length of the rug, I should knock it down a star for that, but the stripe is under a chair and it doesn't bother me. It's a great rug!

I was a bit skeptical based on other reviews, but I love this rug! It's perfect sized and color for my apartment living room. I've had it for a couple months now and it looks just as good as when I first purchased. I cut a non-slip mat to be the same shape as the rug to place underneath and it's been great. Love this rug!

overall, love overstock, but not impressed with this particular rug. product material was cheap and not up to our expectations. we've purchased "man made" material rugs before, but none as disappointing as this. sorry to say, we returned the item for a full refund. don't think i will order another rug.

Originally, this rug was in my shopping cart but then it sold out so I had to wait for notification that it came back in stock. This took about a week and a half and when it came back there were only 2 in stock -- probably returns (thank you!!!!). I am so happy I was able to snag this rug. While it was temporarily out of stock, I found it at Wayfair and it was over $300!!! This rug arrived looking exactly like the photo. At the end of the rug where the "head" would be, it is a very deep, dark brown. At the other end of the rug, the brown spots are medium to light and very warm in color -- think caramel. The what color is more of an ivory, not a stark white, but definitely not beige or even cream. The rug is very thin, as expected, but also very soft. The bottom of the rug is kind of a smooth plastic, which makes the rug feel a little more sturdy. This might not last very long in a high traffic area. I knew from the description it was 6x8' but still I was impressed by its size. We placed it under the dining room table we just built that is wood with iron hairpin legs. Our dining room is a mix of modern and eclectic and we have industrial gray concrete floors. Wish I could share a photo because the rug looks great int he room! We are so happy to have found this rug, especially because we would not want a real cow hide in our home. Sure this is a fake, but unless you get on your hands and knees to examine it, you don't notice.

You get what you pay for here. This was super cool when it came in, but it must be used in low traffic areas. And stains don't clean up well from it. Just not durable, but great looking for while it lasts. Great buy if you can keep traffic and potential stains off it.

So, i am someone who has allergies. The day the rug came in, i fell in love with the look. I have had it for almost a year now and really cannot stand the thing. The first few months i had to vacuum all the time because the fine synthetic hairs made me sick with allergies. Now that the rug isnt shedding anymore, it looks thin and cheap and like a fake hide which it is. Another issue, i have a boyfriend that cannot walk straight, he is always tripping on the rug. It doesnt stay straight. It is always deforming. I have it on a rug pad now and it does no good. The item shifts around alot. It is not smooth to the ground. What i mean is that over time, it has developed "wrinkles" which wont lie straight! Very annoying item. Please save your money. If you dont mind the shedding and you are going to use it in a non high traffic area: well the rug is pretty (only reason i gave it a 2) because everyone that sees it for the first time comments on how pretty it is until they look closer...

I looked forever to find a rawhide rug, either they were to expensive or flimsy looking.This rug is perfect, large size, doesnt move around my hard wood floor and the cats dont claw at it.Looks real, everyone asks if it is. Only when you get up close and touch it you realize its faux.I think it beautiful, i wish i had more rooms where i could use more.Im very happy!

Received this rug about two weeks ago and it was the perfect detail to add a little interest to our modern living room. The color is just gorgeous with great brindle detail and perfectly complements the details of our beige couch with leather detail. The fur definitely looks faux, which is what I was looking for, but wouldn't substitute if you're looking for something that looks natural. We absolutely love it!

When this carpet arrived, I didn't open it until I relocated to Santa Fe. When unwrapped the carpet was very wrinkled in the middle and I was very dissapointed that it wouldn't lay flat, so I had the movers stack boxes on top of it in hopes of flattening it out. Well here I am 2 weeks later and haven't been able to unpack the boxes due to some remodeling causing alot of dust, etc., so I can't give a full report at this time. I hope this rug works out but can't tell yet.
