I needed new kitchen chairs that were easy too to clean but nice to look at too. Overstock delivered these beauties in a strong flat box. They are stained in a warm, reddish brown as pictured. Although they're wood they're still comfortable. The only mistake I made was putting them together after work on one of our very hot summer days. They're not hard put together whatsoever, instructions are clear and screws with little hex key is included. It's just easier to put them together when you have plenty of time. Be careful to separate the different size screws and pay attention to the instructions and you won't have a problem. One thing they do not come with are little rubber feet. I just stopped at my local big hardware store and picked them up. Easy fix. Now they don't scratch up my floor and they look good too. The chairs are so elegant and sturdy for a fabulous price. I really like these chairs. The price was right and they were easy to put together. (This coming from a woman who hated putting together her son's Lego kits!). I got 3 sets, and the only negative thing that I can say is that all of the parts were not there and I had to contact customer service. I am still waiting on a piece of one of the chairs. Additionally, once assembled, the chair surface is very easy to scratch and shows dings easily. I am currently in the process of putting a coat of clear polyurethane on them. No big deal though. They are great chairs for the price. They look great and are very sturdy. I would recommend them.

After shopping for dining room chairs in local furniture stores and on the web, we decided to try these from overtstock. The chairs are very nice. The only issue I had was one of the boxes was missing the wooden buttons that cover the screw heads on the back of the chair. However, customer service was excellent in addressing this issue, and sent the wooden buttons within a few days of calling them. Assembly was easy, just take your time and follow the directions. The chairs are solid with ample seating (I'm a big guy, so size and stability is important).Very nice. Good Quality.

I really like these chairs a lot. So much that I ordered a second set. However, the first set came with a broken part. The replacement part didn't fit (holes drilled in the wrong place) so I was sent an entire new chair. The new chair was MISSING a part. So, several weeks later, I'm still waiting... Even with all the parts, I had to do some creative assembly to get the chairs together. As I said, I really like the chairs once assembled but be prepared for some bumps in the road to accomplish that if you decide to get these chairs.

These chairs are solid as a rock once constructed, I know I built 6 of them. You will need to use a different Allen wrench since the one provided is a bit small, and trust me is much easier to spend the $5 on a new one. Once the chairs are done they look great and are pretty easy to put together. I received one set without the nuts and bolts, but upon speaking to a rep they immediatly sent out another set. We may be ordering one more set.

I love the chairs. They are quite attractive. What I do not like is the fact that I had to get someone to put them together for me! I am a widow and do not have a handy-man living in my house. I do not recall seeing anywhere on the website that the chairs would require work like that. Maybe I just missed it. I will be more alert if and when I order from you again because of that.

The Raven X-back dining chairs were better than expected. The instructions were not the most detailed and figuring them out added to the overall assembly time. Also, the tool (an allen wrench) included in the box only lasted for the assembly of the first chair. But, the chairs were of very good quality for a great price and complimented our existing dining room set very nicely!

I bought these chairs upon the recommendation of other Overstock.com customers, and they did not disappoint. Rich color, sturdy build, nice lines. They look quite expensive, but more importantly for us, they are comfortable for children and adults, and, again, they are sturdy. A huge win at this price.

I love these chairs, the instructions were easy to follow and I hate to assembly anything. Yes, I can be lazy, but I can't complain about these chairs, they match my kitchen cabinets also and my dining room table. I'm going to purchase 2 more chairs and tell all my friends about this product.

I bought 2 of these chairs and I love them! They match perfectly with the table I already had, and they were not particularly difficult to assemble. They appear much more expensive than they actually were. All in all, a great purchase.

Very nice chairs for the price point. I was a little suprised they arrived flat pack and required assembly, but they went together fairly well. They were packaged well except that the hardware was loose in the box on both sets I bought . The instructions were not very good, and a few steps were omitted, but overall easy enough to assemble. By the fourth chair I had it down (lol). The chairs are lovely. I like the finish. The style is great. They are solid and sturdy chairs. I would recommend them to a friend and I would buy them again

These are sturdy nice looking chairs. The simplicity of the design is refreshing.The redwood matched my Ralph Lauren table so well. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone. Great price. I bought 6 so assembly took my boyfriend quite awhile, but worth the wait!

I received these chairs over a month ago--2 screws were missing-I contacted Overstock and was promised they would be sent. I have never received the screws but Overstock has labeled the issue solved and has not responded to any furthur emails about the issue.

Most of the assembly is done with a teeny allen wrench, which makes it time-consuming but not difficult. I wish there were a little more scoop in the seats; they're almost completely flat, which is a little hard on the sit-bones. The finish seems a little on the rough side but this does not really deter from their appearance. They match my walnut table very well. Overall, I think they were a bargain.

I purchased 3 sets of these chairs for my son as a christmas gift. they were shipped promptly and my son told me they are perfect for his table. An easy match. Easy to put together and very sturdy. They love them. Great value for the money.

received them within 4 days , great value for the money, workmanship so so, they are sturdy chairs for the money, had a difficult time assembling, directions werent the best, they look great with my table wood colour matches , overall would buy again....

We recevied these chairs just a couple of days after ordering them, and my husband put them together without any problem, they match our table beautifully. The only downfall is that I want two more and they are out of stock and I am starting to panic now!!!

This product is a steal for the price. The chairs are solid wood and very sturdy. Also, the seats on the chairs are a little wider than I expected (good). All in all, a great bargain for a great price. The only problem I encountered was 2 missing pieces in 1 box of 2 chairs. I contacted Overstock.Com and within 4 days, I received the missing pieces. Great chairs and great customer service.
