This is a great table. It was easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all the parts were numbered. The only problem we had with assembly was the lower right hand drawer hinge was not aligned properly, so the door would not close flush - it missed by about 1/8".The best thing about this table is the charging station. It's 3 sections, and in the bottom of each section there is a hole for the cords to run thru. This section slides in and out, and underneath is is a hole in the table (which is also about 25% of the table surface) which hides a cubbie underneath. There's a hole in the back of the cubbie to put cords thru also. This cubbie is hidden when the drawer is in place, and makes for a great hiding spot! So, the top shelf only goes back 1/2 the width of the table where there's a backstop, and the cubbie is behind that.We love it!

For the price, it is okay. The table is very functional. Not the best piece of DIY furniture I have, though. The workmanship is a bit sloppy (for example, cheap materials and drawers are hard to open and shut.)

Wow! I love this table. The pictures don't do it justice. This is actually a nice piece of furniture for a DIY piece. It's pretty easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 1hr and half. I have a small apartment and I am using this as an entry table, but it fits perfect. If you are looking for a nice multi-use table, I would recommend this everytime!!!

I had doubts about this item, but it turned out to be not only beautiful but very roomy. The color has more of an espresso hue than the reddish that shows in the picture, which fits me perfectly. I assembled it by myself (it took me a little over three hours), The filing drawer gave me a little trouble, as it wouldn't close all the way, but after a while fiddling with it, I could manage to make it work fine. It's a nice piece of furniture

Love it, love it...it looks like it was bought at a high end store, but was really under $200.00. Great deal.The file drawer sticks a little, but it works and doesn't bother the look. Was missing a piece when it was shipped, however, after contacting overstock, the piece was promptly shipped to me with no questions asked.Thank you again...Love it

This piece looks great. It was very easy to assemble. It did have a couple of scratches in the wood, but I chose not to return it because they were not in obvious places and I wasn't putting it in a very visible place in my house.

I agree with other reviewers when they say it is a bit tricky to put together. It's time well spent, though. For the money, it is a nice piece. I am very happy with it. Pictures shown are very accurate to actual appearance.

Have lots of time to put this thing together; it took us 3 evenings and much frustration! Some metal parts were damaged and a wooden support part arrived broken with no apparent way to repair it although my husband did after much thought and the purchase of some tools, which adds to the cost. But now that the thing is finished, it looks nice. We are using it as our "drop zone" for keys, purse, etc. at our entry and the entry area is not brightly lit so the sub-standard finish on the wood doesn't show up. Also, the file drawer moves with difficulty. My husband almost threw the thing out a couple of times; he was very frustrated. For the price (not including the hours spent trying to put it together), it's an okay value.

Beautiful product, I looked everywhere for something like this and it was better than I expected!! It's REAL wood and finishes off the walk-in area so well! Perfect size for smaller rooms, and helps with organization and storage!!!

We were looking for an entry table in our new home for storing all the stuff we started dumping on the kitchen island as soon as we came back from work. Our kitchen island was a mess with mail, keys and extraneous stuff all in plain sight. Surprisingly, it was hard to find anything that would fit the bill - the few items we saw in local stores were all too ornate, big and expensive. Not much luck searching online either until we saw this piece.Right off the bat, let me tell you that this organizer does exactly what we were looking for. Its nice and heavy and not like the particle board furniture one usually sees these days. Putting it together was not a problem for me (I'm mechanically inclined and experienced with all sorts of assembly jobs), but it may be for someone who doesn't do something like this often. There are a bunch of parts small and large, but nothing was missing and most everything was undamaged ( I got a broken cellphone storage tray - its not completely fixed but it doesn't bother me much).You may need a couple of your own tools - a mallet and a good philips screwdriver. What you may not see in the enlarged picture is that there is a tray with 3 compartments on the top right that slides out revealing an empty area below that can store your cell phone chargers, keeping the ugly wires out of site. There are round holes through each compartment for the charger wires to connect to the cellphones as they sit in the tray. The tray as well as first drawer on the top left are lined with a velvety fabric that keeps things in place and not have stuff bang around inside as you open and close the drawer. The file storage cabinet movement is not very smooth but it does a good job. Although we balked initially at the price, its safe to say that my wife and I are both very happy with this piece of furniture. I would rate it slightly less if there was anything else easily available out there that does the same job, but we couldn't find one so this gets 5 stars!

This thing was a little tricky to assemble. And once it was fully assembled the bottom drawer does not close all the way. Im not even gonna try to take this thing apart to return. I will just have to keep it the way it is. Other than that it is a nice table.

I was so frustrated trying to put this piece together. Some of the holes were off and this made it hard to install hardware. If it's not perfectly installed it just won't work. Did not get the cooperation I expected from Overstock.

shipment was fairly fast, nothing was damaged.the instructions to assemble arent great, but luckily I have a handy hubby who figured it out.For the price, it is a good value. It looks nice and is functional. Very versitile having a 3 station charger, file drawer, 'junk' drawer and extra compartment. Nice addition to a desk set.All and all we are satisfied and happy we bought this item.

This table was received in good condition and was well packaged. The info says it's solid wood but some parts are particle board with wood veneer. It wouldn't be so heavy otherwise. It goes together easily enough but is time consuming and you do need an extra pair of hands to attach the top to the sides. It looks good and fits perfectly in my entryway. You will need to purchase a power strip or surge protector to plug the various chargers into as one is not provided. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I love this piece. I was looking for something to put in my den to organize the mail, files and my husband's personal items that he brings home from work each night. What a great combination of style and function. A file cabinet allows me to keep current paperwork handy, the handy compartments for cell phone and other electronics that keep the charging cords hidden, the cabinet that stores larger pieces like camera, etc. The only downside to this piece was the assembly. I had my son put it together because he likes to do that sort of thing. It took him about 2-3 hours and if i were doing it i'm afraid it would have taken me days.

It is very heavy and sturdy construction. The screw heads show through the back of the open shelf area. It was hard to assemble, but I am pleased with the storage capacity.

i was so excited when i found this cabinet. it was just the thing i had been looking for. i received it very quickly. however it was damaged, both from shipping and poor packaging. so i had them send me another. it also came quickly, but was damaged due to poor packaging. so i had them send me a third one, it was fine. so we put it together. we were almost done, and we found one of the pieces was to large to finish assembling it. i thought it might be just a fluke, so we got the same piece out of the other 2 boxes. they were all the same. we could not assemble it with out a table saw or something to cut the piece, which we don't have. so they are all going back.a huge waste of time, and a huge disappointment.

After reading the other reviews, I had mixed feelings about placing my order; but, I thought what the heck. So I ordered it and received the parts the same week. I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this cabinet.It took me a weekend to put it together, but patience paid off. It looks great in my computer room. Very pleased with the results.

The quality of this piece is very nice. I love the dark finish and the tons of storage that this piece offers. (And what a great idea to add a docking station on top.) I didn't find the assembly to be very difficult although there was a lot of pieces. You just need to be sure to follow the instructions carefully. This is a very attractive piece and I'm sure most people will be satisfied with the quality and construction.

I am really glad I went through with this purchase. It looks very nice in my entryway and hides all my mail. The piece arrived in good condition- it had one chip that ending up being inside the unit when it was assembled. One small piece on the charging station had come loose but it is nothing that a staple or wood glue cannot fix. The assembly is time consuming and requires two people. THe pieces are all clearly numbered and it only requires a screwdriver. I am very pleased with the table.
