Pretty but not if you don't want peepers
When I first opened the box with 4 of these in them (I purchased 4 for our brand new house), I was eager to put them up. The blind was easy to put up and looks gorgeous. I was so excited that I took the other 3 out of the wrappers. Right then, my friend came to pick me up to go grab a bite. I walked outside to greet my friend and to my surprise, with the blinds down, I can see EVERYTHING inside my house. As pretty as these blinds are and as easily it is to put them up, I will have to return these. If you are looking for something for decoration purpose, this is great. However, if you are looking for blinds so people can't see in your house, these won't work.

Great for the price
These look beautiful up. Gives some privacy, still letting sun filter through. The color is dark with a reddish tone. works perfect with our dark maple cabinets.

No liner????
Edges are to covered with a trim and there is no liner.. Can't use it at all.

Very Nice Shades
I ordered three of these and the measurements were pretty accurate. One was maybe a half inch small in width but my husband was able to install it and it looks fine. Colors are true to picture and look great. As others have said, they do not provide full privacy/light blockage. We are very pleased with the shades.

Great shade
I really like this shade a lot. It is a terrific value that looks like it cost much more. The color is rich and beautiful. It raises and lowers easily. We had to shorten it a little, which was a bit tricky, but doable, with a little patience and a hot glue gun. I am very happy with this purchase.

Easier than I thought.
I bought two of these blinds to fit inside a window opening of 33.5", hoping that they would be smaller than the 34" nominal size. However, they were right on the money...34". I was pleasantly surprised how easily I was able to cut off that half an inch to make them fit. I had to lay them down on a flat surface, straighten them, and then mark a cut line with a black magic marker. Then I used tin snips to cut the bamboo. The wooden part of the head rail, I had to cut with a saw, after taking off the metal hardware. I cut off the half inch only on one side; but it is not noticeable that it is not perfectly symmetrical. The blinds don't block out as much light as I would have liked, but they still provide sufficient privacy. They really look nice on the windows.
