Rangoon Bamboo Roman Shade (23 in. x 74 in.)

This is the third one I've ordered. I love the color and the look of the shade. Easy to install. It does not give you total privacy at night. Arrived 2 days after I placed my order. I love Overstock.

I purchased these shades for a very sunny home office. While they are "open-weave," the sun still comes through somewhat but at least it's now possible to see the computer screen and not have glare in the eyes. I chose them because they have multiple colors in the bamboo and match the woodwork in the room, did not completely block the view, and because the sizes offered were exactly the sizes of my windows. They are easy to install, and look nice in the room. There is some slight variation in the length of the "valence" flap at the top of the shade (maybe up to 1/2" difference between some shades), but it's not very obvious for the casual viewer. I had priced shades at Penneys, local discount stores, and online and found nothing I liked better for the price. These are great for the overall cost.

Bought these for daughter's front and back doors of new house. Very disappointed with the quality... They are very very transparent! Not only can you see through them at night when lights are on in the house, but you can see through them during the day as well! She installed them before I could inspect, or I would have returned them. 1st time I'm disappointed with an Overstock purchase... I rarely post ratings, but felt it necessary!

I did read reviews before purchasing and while some people thought they were red in color, I actually would say mohogany in color mixed with dark brown. They are just beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I did research and found that the pricing on these particular blinds were a fantastic deal through overstock. I have not mounted them yet as I am still painting my kitchen. I did hold them up against the window and one of the blinds looks like it might be a pretty tight fit, but the others leave the required room. The reason I put 4 stars on appearance, workmanship is because the sides of the blinds are not finished perfectly, however, for the money, once again, I am very happy with my purchase from Overstock!
