  My contractor just installed the Cavaliere-Euro 36 inch Island Mount Range Hood, and it looks very attractive and has good suction. My contractor said it was not difficult to install but required two men when it was necessary to lift the vent hood into place. I was concerned that it would block my view to the living/dining room, but it is high enough that it is above my eye level (I'm 5'5"). Taller people might have to make creative adjustments to raise the level if desired.

  Although it will be a couple of months before we will be ready to install this hood, we have had it out of the packaging and couldn't be more pleased with it. It is not overpowering in size and is in perfect condition after shipping. There is a really good template that comes with the hood and it has proven useful to hang on the wall to get a visual of how it might look. Once we get our tile work done and the ;hood installed, I will update this review. However, we expect it to be fully satisfactory. Shipping was quick and packaging was very sturdy.

  We like it. It has a modern look. Simple designer line. Fan power is ok. Not too noise either. Just installed for a few week. Hope it is durable and last. We can tell after a few week use yet.

  The hood is beautiful and works great. I have a problem with the venting through the attic. I am aware that the workmen that installed the hood had very little in the way of directions for the install. What he thought should have been an easy install took a great deal more time. I am experiencing a sound from the attic that I believe to be from the installation of the hood. I will call my installer back to take a look. But the over-all product is wonderful.

  Simplly speaking, this hood is excellent. I did a bout one weeks research on hoods before I bought this one, and I found this one is what I want. I have used this one for about one week, and we are very satisfied the quality of the product as well as its functionality.
