Great Lamp BUT.......
Here's the thing so listen up Overstock! I ordered this lamp with the tan shade and brown base. There is another lamp exactly like this one with a maroon/red shade and a black base. What I received in the box was the red shade with a brown base which is nowhere to be found on this site. I LOVE IT! I am not usually excited about a screwed up shipment and I have had a few. But this one I am excited about because the lamp is perfect. : )

Stylish
This lamp is very stylish. The lamp shade is made from what appears to be a very high end fabric. There were minor staining imperfections on the lamp base, which only added to it's unique charm. I would highly recommend this table lamp for anyone needing to brighten a dark area. We have received many compliments on the unique shape and color of the lamp shade. When lit, It gives of a soft muted light, perfect for the demilune table and artwork in our living room. Thank you, Overstock, for another unique and afordable item!

Pleasantly Surprised
Lamp is more lovely than I expected. It arrived in about 4 days w/o any damage. The thing I'm most happy about is that the shade is a little darker than is pictured. It looks rather light online but is, in fact, a very pretty shade of beige. I'm using it in a family room, but would go equally well in a bedroom or living room.

My first experience with O. Lamps are as described, very tall and solid and a very refined , majestic and a cleanly contemporary addition to my bedside tables. well constructed, base and well made sturdy shades. Can work with a tradidional room as well, as the lines and solid wood are classic. Delivery time, packing was great, no damage. Like the fact that it is a transitional piece and can easily go from bedroom to Foyer to formal living room. would highly reccomend. the product. Very good value for the $$
