I bought this floor lamp for use in my home office. But I was so happy with the way it looks that I'm using it in my living room instead. It's a little shorter than I was expecting (I should be more careful reading the description and the dimensions). But I absolutely love this lamp. The finish is just what I wanted and the details on the lamp are a wonderful touch. It was very easy to assemble. I felt that the price I paid for this lamp was worth every penny. This one is definitely a keeper.

Nice and solid lamp, just beautiful. Assembly didn't even require instructions, wire was pre-threaded and the lamp was together in about 5 minutes. Very high quality, I was very pleased!

I absolutely love the lamp that I bought for an extremely low price at Overstock.com. My only complaint is that it is a little shorter than I realized -- guess I should have read the description a little better. However, the 4-foot style actually brings the light closer to my reading chair and the top of the lampshade is parallel to a picture that I have hung behind it, so it actually looks pretty good!The body of the lamp is well crafted, and the entire lamp is sturdy and of good weight. I would recommend it for anyone who wants quality craftmanship at a very good price.

The quality of this lamp is obvious from first look. It has a very classy appearance but is not too formal for our comfortable living room. Others mentioned its height as being less than they might like but raved about the lamp itself. I chose it because I wanted a lamp that would shine down on a chair where one might sit to read and the height is perfect for this. It also creates a lovely ambience when left on the low bulb setting for low light atmosphere. The color of the shade adds to its warmth. The detail on the lamp itself has a very expensive look. We are very pleased with what it has added to our home.

This lamp is beautifully made-the brushed bronze finish will go with most decors, except for very modern. The pieces are strung together in the box-just screw together, pull the power cord to the correct length, and attach the shade. Took me ten minutes.The lamp is being sold on the internet at other sites as a current item-for $100 more!
