Nice aesthetics, but NOT Made in USA The block and knife set look good on a counter. I have medium size hands and the handles on the small knives feel awkward. The larger knives are better to hold. As a comparison, I bought a Hen & Rooster set of steak knives at the same time from Overstock.com. The box print lists German Stainless Steel and the handles feel good to use. The steel on the Pure Life set is; at best; 70% of the quality of the Hen & Rooster steak knives. The biggest problem with the Pure Life set is the description listed it as a Made in USA product. This is not the case. The wood storage block and each individual knife is stamped CHINA. I would not have bought it and am glad it wasn't $99.99 like on other sites. I'm going to read the return policy and determine who pays shipping as I make my decision on returning them.
