Be careful with large order purchases
The shipping was a nightmare, I couldn't have been more proactive and the shipping company were idiots. The bed parts don't quite all match and the drill holes that were suppose to be in the furniture were not. If the bed matched I'd love it, but it's now just like. I think it's worth more money for less headache

looks great
This bed looks great - very nice dark, rich brown. The only issue is with assembly. There were not pre-drilled holes to know where to put the cross boards that support the mattress and boxspring. Additionally the cross supports were warped. Once the mattress and box spring are on though - it looks fantastic!

sturdy and beautiful bed
This is a great bed, made of very sturdy wood components. It arrived about 10 days after ordering and was intact, no damage. Local delivery guys were great. My husband and I assembled the bed in about an hour and 15 minutes, only needing a power screwdriver. Yes, it is true there are no pre-drilled holes in the side rails for attaching the 4 slat boards. But if you are fairly strong, a power screw driver or elbow grease will do to attach the slats. As to the color and construction of the bed, it's a very attractive chocolate brown or mahogony color. The website picture does not do it justice. The web picture makes it look like seagrass - it 's really dark brown. And while it is described as wicker, it's not a tight weave wicker like patio furniture - more of a wide weave, grass. Overall I was extremely pleased with this Overstock buy. I got the 14-inch memory foam mattress to go with it and I am thrilled with the quality and value. I'm now looking for bedding from Overstock to go with it!

LOVE IT
This bed looks FANTASTIC in person, way better than the photo. It makes our whole bedroom look incredible. It is much darker in person. The design is super chic. I love, love, love it! The assembly is fine, not too tough, as long as you have two people, (we bought a king size). It does not appear to have any solid wood other than the slats (I could be wrong though). The frame seems to be durable but hollow under the base of the woven design. The slats seem a bit narrow and wimpy for such a big and heavy bed frame. But it seems sturdy enough while sleeping. My only complaint is: I bought this particular bed because of the look and so I do not have to have a dust ruffle or bed skirt. We love the look, but I thought the side panels would be taller and cover the box springs from view. They do not. The box springs stick way out and I am left wandering if I should buy a bed skirt, which I did not want to do!! But overall, this is a good buy for the price and a fabulous looking bed!!!! Also, the shipment came much faster than expected.

beautiful bed but
we were very happy with the appearance of the bed. It was very easy to put together and is solid once assembled. the only problem we had is the wooden slats that hold the boxspring in place are not strong enough. we have 2 twinsize boxsprings and the first night we slept in our new bed the mattresses fell through the frame breaking 2 of the wooden slats. we have had to reinforce the boxsprings with stronger peices of wood!! the bed is beautiful and very tropical looking but alot of unexpected work to make it hold our mattresses!!!!!

nice bed
The bed is beautiful however, it is darker than it appears in the picture ( I expected this from previous reviews). Delivery was quicker than expected. I am very happy with this product.

Wicker Bed
It is absolutely beautiful! Pretty easy to assemble but the slat holes weren't drilled into the bed frame but it wasn't a big issue
