Please be aware that although this piece is not 100% wood (probably 88% wood), it is very high quality and it took very little time to assemble. There are pieces underneath that hold the top together that are pre-manufactured wood, but overall an excellent piece for the price. It has exquisite details around the edge and a VERY nice finish on the veneer design. Also, Overstock offers some of THE best shipping speeds (took less than 4 business days - fantastic!).

Awesome deal. Walnut veneer is spectacular in person. Assembled in less than 10 minutes. Looks great with my other mid century furniture. I'm thinking about buying some of the other Rae pieces now too!

This table is super easy to assemble, and it's beautiful.

I'm the guy who pours over all the furniture sites looking for that exact, right fit. This piece is quite unique and a lot more functional than you would initially think. The table stain is a shade darker than what's on the website, so make sure you're looking for a true walnut color.

I love this coffee table. The wood color is warm without being too dark, and not too light to look cheap. The assembly was very easy and only took about 10 minutes. The only complaint I have about the table is that it is a little wobbly - sort of top heavy. If you have children that might lean on this table a lot, you may consider something more stable. The legs are thin and placed in the middle and the top is very wide, so if someone puts pressure on one of the long sides, it could turn over. It works great for my little apartment, though! I looked around and saw similar tables for thousands of dollars.

We just assembled this table yesterday and it's exactly what I was looking for - very retro but stylish. I didn't give it five stars for 2 reasons: 1) the wood is darker than it appears in the picture, (more dark brown, reminds me of the paneling in my mother's old house!) & 2) it took some working with the screws to get the holes lined up correctly. So make sure you don't tighten everything until you get it all lined up. But looks great and very happy with the purchase, esp for the price.

This is a great mid-century inspired piece, well built, quality table. Everything arrived in perfect condition and I was surprised at how heavy the table is for the price. It fits well with both modern and vintage pieces. It's my favorite Overstock purchase so far!

This table is extremely well constructed. Although it is not a direct replica of any specific table, it is in the spirit of other famous modern tables. Have gotten lots of compliments on it! Goes well with contemporary decor. Easy to assemble. Love this table!

Love this table! It was very well-packaged upon arrival, and there were no imperfections. I had the same problem with the table being slightly wobbly after assembly, but it was easily fixed by just untwisting/retracting two of the foot screws so that they were long enough to prevent the instability.

I thought I wouldn't get this rae walnut coffee table, since it was sold out when I had bought my Rae dining table. The two pieces go well together, definitely a darker walnut wood color which I prefer. The eiffel-esque steel legs are a nice geometric design and quite sturdy. The design could pass as Danish modern, and I have seen the table advertised in upscale modern furniture store for 3x the price on Overstock. A great purchase. One last thing that is nice is unlike vintage furniture - this one has a durable and realistic wood grain veneer that can withstand water marks, although the instructions say to use coasters.

This table looks just as quality as pictured. Five minutes to put together, without even looking at the directions. A great way to add a little mid-century modern to your living room decor. Also, it looks good with my dark wood furniture.

I bought the coffee table as well as the console table. Assembly is a breeze. turn the table upside down, screw in three trestles into the underside (tool provided) and you are done in 8 minutes. A 5 year old could do it. The steel legs are strong and the wood finish is very well done. This does not look like a discount line furniture item. This is legit nice furniture. Nothing wobbly or flawed. I am impressed by the quality of manufacturing and the attention to detail. I own some fine pieces of furniture and these tables fit right in. If you like this design, don't hesitate. They'll be gone. And the price....

Bought table for mid century home and love it! Mixed beautifully with vintage and new modern pieces. Great price for quality and size.

I ordered it on Friday and it arrived the following Friday. UPS screwed up the delivery but that's pretty standard when you live in an apartment.This is a great looking piece of furniture and was a snap to assemble. Once I started putting it together it was assembled in about 5 minutes.The finish is beautiful and like another commenter noted the top consists of about 3 separate pieces of wood. They're all cut from the same grain so it looks great. This tables a lot bigger and taller than I thought it would be based on the picture and other similar tables I've seen. I'm really happy about this unintended bonus because I really don't like the super-small tables that are only 12" off of the ground.

Solid walnut with a beautiful finish and great legs reminiscent of mid-century modern design. Like the feet on this table: each leg ends with a socket-ball joint containing a positionable foot with a rubber bottom. Would be great for uneven surfaces. Reasons for giving it four stars: APPEARANCE: The walnut top is not cut from a single piece of wood, and the plank lines are somewhat visible. But the stain and finish is beautiful. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: Orienting oneself to the direction the legs must be positioned for assembly is initially difficult. But each piece is labeled 'right' and 'left', so once you get the hang of it, it becomes a snap. I recommend screwing each leg 80% in until all legs are in so you can go back and make sure everything is aligned properly and finish the assembly.

this coffee table arrived in about a week in only two separate pieces. it was easy to assemble and is made of real wood! it looks great in our living room!

Beautiful mid century look coffee table. Love the look, there was a dent in the box that ended up being a chip in the table. Still a fan of the table though, great quality for the price.
