REad many reviewers who complained about other products being very noisy. Within one day our musty smell was GONE. Easy to clean filter. Also nice looking, with long cord to put or move to a convenient spot.

Whisper quiet is true on Auto setting... Other fan speeds are noticeable, but not annoying ... At night, portability is wonderful, so I move it to bedroom and kick it on HIGH, cause I have carpet in there ... When Allergy season began, I suffered tremendously, before my unit arrived... Does it remove every particle of pollen or dust?... NO, nothing will, be realistic .... But there is great improvement in sneezing & watery eyes with filtering ... Unit is attractive, light weight portability, easy-to-read digital control face ... Filters include 3 in box: big particle screen (will catch pet hair) washable.... HEPA (for pollens) lasts 18 months, charcoal (odors) lasts 3 years ... To keep sensor clean, wipe with dry qtip occasionally ...easy! ... I plan to purchase another unit for the other half the house, silver

My girlfriend had a cat. It made it easier for me to hang out at her apartment and removed odors. Strong Recommendation.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought a second. It sit in a large living room/dinning room area and this morning I did a little wall sanding to touch up a wall 20 feet away. within minutes the Rabbit Air sensed the dust and increased speed to remove it then later dropped back down to low. It was set on automatic. I never saw the dust and did not know it was there but this air purifier did. Sanded another spot later and it did the same thing. The first one was in my office and I started brushing my long haired cat. That one did the same thing picking up the cat dander from the brushing. Great product. On auto low. which is where both usually run you cannot even hear them unless standing right by them. Very quiet.

i BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY SON WHO IS UNDERGOING BOTH RADIATION AND CHEMO AT THE PRESENT TIME. THE THING THAT INTERESTED ME MOST WAS THE POTENTIAL OF THE VIRUS PREVENTION WITH VISITORS HE MAY HAVE. HE SEEMS TO THINK THE AIR QUALITY OF HIS HOME IS BETTER. I ALSO BOUGHT THE LARGER VERSION FOR MY HOME. MINE IS IN MY BEDROOM. I HAVE A LOT OF ALLERGIES AND AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DOG AND CAT AND AM ALLERGIC TO BOTH. I AM FINDING I SLEEP MUCH BETTER. THIS UNIT IS VERY QUIET. I AM NOT THRILLED ABOUT THE PRICE, BUT HAVE HAD LESS EXPENSIVE MODELS OF OTHER BRANDS THAT DIDN'T DO NEARLY AS WELL EITHER CLEANING THE AIR OR WITH ENDURANCE. AS TO DURABILITY, I PROBABLY SHOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN AS HIGH A RATING, BUT JUST FROM THE APPEARANCE, IT APPEARS MUCH BETTER MADE. THIS IS TRULY ONE OF THOSE EXAMPLES OF YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I was reluctant to pay this much for the purifier. However, after some research I purchased it. I've had it for almost a month now. I have a dog and carpet, so I needed something. I wanted it because my new home is so tightly closed up the air seemed to not be fresh and also allergies. It can tell when something is in the air and works pretty well. I can definately tell a big difference when at home or in the morning with my allergies. So just that being said, makes it worth it for me.

The RabbittAir Purifier operates as describes. Set it on automatic and it justs purrs like a kitten. The fan runs slow and quite, then speeds up when necessary. I definitely notice a difference in the dust accumulation in house when the RabbitAir operates. Filter stack appears to be made of high quality components. Very satisfied with this purchase. Do not expect the white to be a bright white. It is more of a pearl white, but very attractive.

Best air cleaner I have ever had. Quiet and works very well. I have pets and this picks up lots of air particles. I have to clean it out ever 3 months it gathers up that much dust. It tells you when it needs cleaning.

I have horrible allergies, and I've bought numerous air purifiers throughout the years. This one is completely different from anything I've ever purchased. It's like a "smart purifier." I absolutely love it! Yes, the price is a little high compared to other air purifiers, but this machine really is unbelievable. Even my husband (who calls everything like this hocus-pocus) thinks it makes a huge difference. Lately, due to weather, neither our air conditioner nor heater have cycled. Usually this makes the house smell kinda closed-up and musty. However, with the rabbit air running, it smells so fresh and pure.

We bought this purifier to help with a musty basement that has pet litter boxes in it as well. We noticed a difference in the air quality immediately. It even smells cleaner to us and our allergies seem to be better. We are very pleased with the look and performance of this unit. It is very solid and impressive-looking. One thing - note the dimensions closely. I thought it was a smaller, tabletop-type unit but it needs to be on the floor. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting it to be.

We've been using the RabitAir now for 30 days and saw an immediate difference in the house. We have two dogs and no matter how clean they are or our house is, the house tends to smell a bit when I walk in from a day at the office. Now that we have been using the filter, there is no more dog smell! Cooking odors dissipate much faster as well. We take the unit into the bedroom at night and immediately, my wife has been able to breath thru her nose and is not "snoring" any longer. I tended to get up a lot in the middle of teh night and seem to be sleeping thru the night much better and we are no longer congested in the AM! I know this sounds crazy, but it is true. I have cleaned the filters once after 2 weeks of use and was amazed at how much dust and dog hair was captured. We are very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.

my longer review was lost when I clicked the 'member' link here. so i'll retype an abbreviated one. it works. i have had a few other good units also, this is my favorite. if you have allergies, get one. it works well. the auto fan speed seems to work also to 'sniff' the air, if i open the door etc it tends to speed up for a bit.

I live in the southwest and have four dogs. What a nightmare for air quality. I ordered one of the RabbitAir units and fell in love. I can't believe how much better my house smells and how much it has improved our problems with dust, etc. The unit looks great and is quiet. I highly recommend.

I picked the unit up from UPS this morning. Turned it on around 9a.m. on high. We live in a condo, and our neighbor is an extreme chain smoker, who doesn't go out! I called my wife at 11a.m., unprompted, she said that the Rabbit was working really well. The common hallway smelled like smoke, but our unit no longer smelled of smoke. I will be buying another one soon.

Was concerned about the noise when purchasing an air purifier but the reviews posted were positive and I can attest to it as well. In the lowest mode you really cannot hear it. I cover the front because I like sleeping in the dark. This air purifier seemed to make a difference in allergy symptoms in both me and my cat. Around a month into use, the odor sensor failed to function. Resetting the baseline did not work so called RabbitAir directly to get their guidance. That was a fiasco. After numerous calls and troubleshooting they said they were shipping me a new unit. A supervisor called back an hour later to say they could not ship me a new unit as the order wasn't processed directly through them as it should have been. Overstock.com is supposed to give them the order information directly and they ship to the customer. This wasn't the case in my order and caused much confusion on their part. Needless to say, I called Overstock.com and the customer service representative was kind enough to handle my return. The identical unit is out of stock so I purchased an upgraded RabbitAir model and am hoping that this one will stand the test of time.

I had an air purifier for a few years now and it didn't seem to do the job. My wife smokes in side and we have four small dogs. So we battle urine, smoke, and dog smell. After two days of use this machine took the smell away. My wife is amazed at the fact that when she lights a cigarette it detects the smell/smoke and kicks into a higher speed. This machine is extremely quiet on the highest setting, which is one of the best features. Last purifier I owned, the low speed wasn't near as quiet as this machine on high speed. This is one of my favorite purchases I have ever made and once I can get more money together, I definitely want another for the second floor.

This really helped get my fiance's allergy symptoms under control when he moved in with me and my cat. Now he is used to her but we still keep this around and run it when company is coming over in case anyone else is allergic. Easy to clean and to operate. Good choice for an apartment or home, just as long at the position in the room is ideal.
