I would love to write a glowing review for this product as it looks great and seems sturdy except I can't even assemble one of the chairs as it came with two right wheels. The screw holes only line up a certain way, the chair is useless. Not only that, one of the plastic straps holding the box together was missing. So, the box was half open when it arrived. The hardware (screws and nuts) came loose in the box. I was amazed all the screws were there. I contacted the manufacturer over a month ago to get a new wheel. Two weeks after that, I received an email stating the wheels were unavailable at this time and that he'd contact me later on after rechecking the availability. That was 3 weeks ago, I have yet to hear anything more. Unless you want to pay the cost of two chairs and get only one, I'd stay clear of this product.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was just as described.
Please tell us about the quality of the product. The chair material as well as the metal frame are both good quality.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate.
1) The packaging is poor and does not protect the items. The frames were scratched and one of the hardware packages was torn open and parts were strewn all over the box, many pieces were missing.
2) The instructions – there are none! There is a poorly conceived parts list with poor illustrations.
3) Assembly is not for someone who does not have a good mechanical sense and understanding. Hint: pay attention to the weep holes on the cross braces and make sure the fiber bushings go between the frame and the back piece; you’ll have to use a pry bar to insert them.
4) Manufacturing tolerances are not close, fit is poor and force is needed to make some parts fit together.
Final opinion: We need to do more manufacturing in the USA.

We ordered these chairs in an effort to not break the bank on pool furniture. I ordered them on ebay through overstock, but unfortunately, the quality was so poor we had to return them. First, the packaging was horrible. The boxes were half open when the chairs arrived, and the legs of the chairs were all bent. Determined not to let that stop us, we tried to bend the legs back with a rubber mallet so that we could at least assemble the chairs. It kind of worked, but in putting it together, the screws got completely stripped (and we barely tightened them) and the paint was chipping off all over the chair. We couldn't even unscrew the screw to take it apart when we sent it back. After the chair was assembled, it looked okay and as pictured, but then I tried to sit in it. There is a metal bar underneath where your rear goes, and it is terribly uncomfortable. That was the last straw for us and we knew instantly we had to send them back and spend a little bit more money on something else. I had read similar complaints in reviews from other people, but I was convinced that since I wasn't expecting the highest quality product that I would be okay with it. Nope, couldn't do it. Save yourself the trouble and get something else. I can't imagine anyone would be satisfied with these.

Great lounge chairs. This is the second set we've bought, and they're sturdier and better-built than most of the cheapies you find at Home Depot and similar stores. A nice clean design with simple lines, and they seem like they'll last. The included touch-up paint is a nice bonus.

These chairs are weather resistant, so it is not necessary to cover them, however, covering them will help to extend the life of the chairs.overstockcustomercare1 on Nov 5, 2012
