No more teapots
We bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents who enjoy drinking a lot of hot beverages. They love it. No more waiting for the teapot to whistle. The hot water is instant. They use it not only for hot tea and other hot beverages, but also for instant oatmeal. We have had one ourselves for about 5 years but had it installed when we built our house. Ours was twice the price. This unit from Overstock is just as good as far as quality and appearance. Installation was easy. My husband installed this unit for my parents in no time at all. The only problem he ran across is that the plug-in outlet under the sink was wired for the garbage disposal switch so he had to do a little rewiring. Not a big problem if you can do some simple electrical or have another outlet accessible. Everyone should have one of these. They're great! I am a frequent shopper on Overstock. I have yet to have a problem with anything I've purchased. Before I buy anything for my house, from bed linens to furniture, I check Overstock first to see if they have what I'm looking for. You can't beat 'em...and the low cost of shipping and no sales tax are always a plus.

Love It
I bought this for my mother almost two years ago now and it still works like a champ. We use it every day. We use it in many ways. I fill up my thermos with it to pre heat it so the thermos is hot when I pour my coffe in it, which helps it stay hotter longer. We fill up pots for pasta to reduce to time you have to wait for the water to boil. We also use the hot water to put pans to help soften the cooked on bits. Of course it is great for it's intended use of making tea, hot chocolate, and instant coffee. The water gets really hot without it being on the highest setting. Our dink was stopped up the other day and the plumber asked for hot water to flush the drain, I just pulled the lever and he was surprised. He said the water was about 210 degrees and asked where I bout it. We did not use a plumber to install it and it was easy. The only hard part was getting under the cabilet. LOL

This product does not get as hot as other hot water dispensers that I have used, but for the price, it works great. I would buy it again.
