These chairs are nice looking for the price and sit sturdy. Expected the seat cushion to be a little thicker, but not bad. Very easy assembly!

Chairs arrived well-packed and protected. The oerall finish on the chairs was mediocre but considering the price not too surprising. However putting them together was impossible since the screw holes were noticebly mis-aligned. Of 4 chairs I tried to put togehter (I'd ordered 8) I was succesful only once and I'm absolutely no novice in furniture assembly. The product of the one "success" was noticably racked and a little awkward-looking. The design of the chair means that there is a noticable gap of ammost 1/2" between the seat frame and the back leg assembly. This same design produces a weak joint that would easily fail if someone were to lean the chair on the back legs. (OK... we all know we shouldn't do this but it's inevitable.) To Overstock's credit they were extremely quick in issuing return shipping lables despite the fact these are obviously bulky and heavy items. They also issued a credit quickly upon receipt. The transaction ended up costing me the standard initial shipping fee of $2.95 which I consider completely reasonable In short, given the above challenges,, I wouldn't recommend these chairs to anybody but will absolutely make more purchases with Overstock.

I found the finish to be uneven and of poor quality. I wanted to like the chairs because they are a very good price, however the quality and finish were suspect The fabric on the chair was attractive but very lighweight and color and I could not see it holding up with a family with young children who would actually use it often.

One chir appears ok , but the second has badly placed holes for the screws. I can not align chair back with the pillow frame. The holes on the corners are lower than suppose to be. It is a factory deffect, probably bad aligned drilling template. I can only use a center screw and one screw on the corner. Hope it is strong enough. I guess quality control was not good this time

The only thing that kept me from giving these chairs an excellent rating is that the holes for the botls were not drilled in alignment, making it difficult to put them together.

Nice sturdy chairs at an unbeatable price! The problem was that all of the holes for the screws did not line up, making assembly difficult and making it necessary to ask my husband for help! Other than that I m very pleased - very nice looking. The seats are the type that can easily be recovered if the white becomes dingy or stained.

Years ago I had dining room chairs similar to this but gave them away when I needed to downsize tremendously. Ever since then I've been looking to purchase something like them. These beautiful charis exceeded both my expectations of them and the former chairs I'd given away! These chars are beautiful...very classy! The cherry wood fits in perfectly with my decor and makes the small dining room look elegant! They do requrie a lot of assembly but, on the other hand, are very strong! Oh...LOTS of compliments!!!

I love these chairs!!! They were easy to put together and are very sturdy. I bought a table on sale but it didn't have chairs so I found these. They look great with my table and add class to my dining room. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about these chairs!!! They're not only beautiful, but comfortable too. I plan to order a couple more for my table since it's big and I have a large family. Also the price for these quality chairs is very reasonable especially since they come in sets of two. I would definately reccomend them to anyone who wants to add class to their dining room......:)

I bought these chairs several months ago and have been using them daily with a kitchen table. My experience is a little different from other buyers (who wrote reviews)...the finish on my chairs is lovely, a rich, red cherry; the chairs are sturdy and are holding up very well, even though they are delicate in appearance...yes, they were a litttle annoying to put together (for an amateur), but the upholsterer who recovered the cushions (my choice, not necessary) had no trouble putting the seats back on at all. I've paid a lot more for furniture that neither looked as good nor performed as well. I'm completely satisfied.

I purchased these chairs to match an existing Queen Ann dining room set. What a pleasant surprise. The color matches perfectly and the style complements the chairs I already had. The chairs were easy to assemble, they are sturdy, and look just as good as the ones I paid much more for several years ago. This was my first purchase from overstock.com and I am already looking at other items.

finish is a little darker than the pictures, but a good value for the money.

We ordered just 2 chairs, to make sure they would match the table, buffet and china cabinet. The cherry color matched perfectly, so we have ordered 4 more. They are very good, strong, nice, and will add years to the life of our dining room furniture. A furniture repair man was asking $125 per chair to repair and reupholster the old ones! Now we have new chairs.

We were very pleased with our purchase. We received the chairs in just a few days. Assembly instructions have you put the seat together first, but it;s much easier to put the seat together last, although this requires 2 people. The chair looks exactly as pictured. The cherry color works very well for us and of course the seat color is neutral. Overall I'd say the quality is better than we expected and what a great price! We are planning to order additional chairs as well.

The quality was much better than I expected. The chairs tie right in with my existing antique chairs. The white fabric upholstery was of a nice damask quality, though I chose to have mine recovered to match my own decor. I've already bragged about the quality to others. My husband found that the bolts and construction was above average, as well! Kudos all around!

I absolutely love these chairs! The quality is superb. Some chairs I looked at were "cheesy". These are total quality. Would tell anyone to buy these in a heartbeat.

The chairs were worth the money and I am very happy with the purchase. I went to furniture stores and priced these type of chairs and overstock beat all the places I looked. I have not one thing to say negative about this purchase.

The chairs were easy to assemble and look good in our dining room. They replaced old and worn chairs. Would recommend these chairs. They were also the least expensive chairs we found.
