Just recieved the bed after much debate. I did not experience the awful smell like some said. I slept on it the same night as opening it. I like the bed alot, but i recommend before buying you go and check one out in stores to see if this is the density you want. Your body melts into it but not soft like a feather bed. More like the bed just forms around your body or you are just making a dented imprint when you lay on it. I like the bed alot but I am going to get a feather topper to go on top of it. Oh and the pillows are awful! Your head sinks into it until it is flat as a sheet! I do not recommend them at all!

I've had this mattress for about 3 months now and i'm very pleased with it. I would like to make a suggestion though: visit your local mattress stores first to try out memory foam mattresses of differing thicknesses.. This mattress will be too soft for some so you need to find out what works best for you. This one is very well made and of high quality with none of the odor some have mentioned. Please READ THE INSTRUCTIONS that come with the mattress and let it take it's shape!

I'll start with saying that my first experience with a memory foam mattress was the week I spent at my sister's and I slept on her Tempurpedic. I fell in love with it but the price ($3,500) for a queen was simply out of my immediate budget and I didn't want to charge it. That was a year ago and I'd been contemplating buying it anyway but again, the price. After seeing this mattress and reading the reviews, although skeptical, I thought I'd take a chance. It is absolutely THE most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. In my humble opinion it is directly comparable to the other brand for a fraction of the cost. I've been eyeing this mattress for several months. My only regret is that I waited. It did take two of us to take it up to the bedroom and unwrap and put on the bed. It regained its full shape in minutes. I admit I couldn't wait so I slept on it the the very same night. The instructions that came with it said that it would not affect the performance of the mattress if you chose to use it right away. Yeah, there was a slight smell. If you're asleep your sense of smell diminished -- it didn't bother me one bit. The odor dissipated within 2 days. The first night I slept like a baby on a cloud and have every night since. I can't imagine sleeping on anything else. The persistent lower back pain I'd grown accustomed to disappeared. If you're thinking about buying this mattress, stop don't waste another minute. Just do it! You will not regret it. About the author of this review: Before this purchase, I have never given such a glowing review for anything I've purchased online at this site or anywhere else.

Much thicker than I pictured in my mind. My fault, didn't get a ruler and give myself actual hieght. Had to put box springs on the floor in order to climb up on it. Extremely difficult to find sheets for. Found some on Overstock up to 20" pockets and they were still very tight. No real support. Way too soft. Great if you like extremely soft. Memory foam on sides of bed seem to stay depressed giving the feeling of slanting off the edge of the bed. Ok if you stay in the middle of the bed. If I had it to do over, would go no higher than the 13 or 14 inch.

I purchased this product 30 days ago and have not had a better knights sleep. I was wakeing up several times at knight, with 4 yo 6 hours sleep and usually had a back ache. I now sleep 7 to 8 hours a knight and usualy do not wake up at all. I also do not have a back ache in the morning.

My only reservation with this bed is that at 17" thick we had a hard time finding sheets that will fit the bed. We've read that memory foam beds should use a washable mattress pad but with the pad even the biggest 18" fitted sheet don't fit. We found some 22" sheets that will work but don't assume that the 18" sheets you may have already purchased will work. Other than that, this bed is super comfortable and absolutely luxurious. Our bed did not have the 'new foam' stink that others have complained about. I did let the mattress regain it's shape for ~48 hours before first using it.

Ever since we have purchased this mattress we have never slept better. Joints don't hurt, and neither does our backs. I know there were reviews about the odor, yes there is a bit of one but it is the new smell and goes away after a few days, it was not bad enough to keep us from sleeping on it. You may find it really hard to get up your first few mornings, my husband nor I wanted to get out of bed it was so delightful.

This is more than I expected! The actual mattress is covered with a microfiber fabric. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. This is the most comfortable mattress on which I have ever slept. It arrived like carpeting. All I had to do was cut the heavy plastic wrap and it unrolled right onto the box spring. I would recommend this to everyone.
