I was wanting to get away from plastics and use glass to reheat leftovers. I had no idea that there were vented lids that made that operation even better. What a great idea. These work great and I even cook using them in the micro. I cut up potatoes, add a little water, butter and seasoning, pop the lid on and vent, and I have wonderful potatoes in 8 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this product.

This storage set is well constructed and performs as advertised. I appreciate the fact that I can clearly see the food that is being stored as opposed to ceramic or plastic storage vessels. I highly recommend this product.

Product is exactly as I expected from Pyrex. The tops can be tricky when it comes to sealing and re-using; shape can tend to remain the same for a period of time.

The only reason I didn't give this prouduct "5" starts is because the shipping department, didn't put shipping material between two of the containers and they stuck together. I have ordered items from Overstock before and I wasn't disappointed this time, either. Excellent product.j

Excellent value for this set of Pyrex storage containers! Truly leak proof and the vent in the lids for heating foods is so convenient. I think the manufacturer could elongate the tabs just a bit to make it easier to pull them open, but other than that I'm very happy with this set. Plus, storing foods in glass is safer than storing in plastic, which I love.

I have decided I don't really want to warm things up or store food in plastic containers anymore so I purchased this set. I like the set a lot. Lids are easy to put on and take off. Glass is heavier than plastic so if that is an issue for you don't order these. For me these container sizes work well.

These are so much better than plastic and better for you especially when heating leftovers back up.

One bowl had an odd chip in it, but Overstock once contacted was already resolving the problem in about 15 minutes from getting my e-mail inquiry. The damaged item was replaced extremely quickly (almost unbelievably quick) and the customer service reps were very helpful and courteous.

This new Pyrex chips easily and the slivers are very sharp. Overstock was sympathetic and took care of me in the situation. Overstock, please find us good glass sets which will be safe to use in the microwave and won't break or crack during regular handling. I still love Overstock. com.

These items are a joy to own. The leak proof lid is excellent and can go from freezer to oven. Very Happy this was at overstock.com

This Pyrex set with lids are "the cats meow".These will be used all of the time. Have to use pot holders to remove form the mico,but worth it snice they keep the food hotter. We liked so much we found an additional eight piece set @ JCP. If you like hot food and convience, these are for you.

The storage containers work great for freezing and then re-heating with out having to transfer to a glass container or worry about food-plasitic reactions. The vent top is very nice feature. I got it so my kids would stop messing up the microwave when they reheated so and so far it has been succesful - no messes to clean up. If you prefer glass over plastice - these are a great buy!

These are excellent storage containers. The lids are super tight fitting and for storage purposes the right number of sizes are included in the set. I will be purchasing more pyrex glass in the near future.

These pyrex containers are wonderful. We have always used an assortment of plastic "tupperware" type containers. We switched to these and love them! They are easy to use and can go from freezer to frig. to microwave to table. They seal great and because they're glass, they don't retain any stains or food smells (onions!). We ordered a set to try them out and have since ordered another and discarded our old plastic containers...a decision that was well made! I highly recommend these pyrex storage containers!!!
