This Pyramid Pine Trunk is a big hit with us. It's heavy and solid, has an unusual angled shape that attacts attention, and has a very nice finish. Even the hardware is attractive. Inside, there is more storage room than expected. So glad we saw it on the Overstock site, and ordered it. As always, Overstock offered it at a great price. Hard to believe we got such a good buy!

I bought this table thinking it was solid wood. it is veneer and it comes off. I have only had the trunk for 4 months so I have definately not gotten my moneys worth. It was easy to assembly but things didn't align properly. I had to put the table in a corner rather than using it as a coffee table. In the corner the flaws don't show. But still really disappointed about the "finish" of it. Veneer isn't pretty. I should have returned it.

Just like all do it yourself particleboard furniture, nothing lines up perfectly and the end result looks like junk. Seems/edges did not align well, the lid would not fully close (even after hours of adjustments), and the hinges were junk and buckled. Once the hinge buckled, we closed the lid and since the hinge was now in reverse it split the whole back side of the trunk. The surface is cheap and scratches very easily. Also, the actual storage space is small. Avoid at all costs!!!! Waste of Money!!!!

This table made a great gift for our daughter and 2 Grand kids. They have "things" that needed a place to go while downstairs in the living room. This is a great combination of table and storage.

This is a great coffee table for a smaller living space. I use for book storage and holds more than I though, and looks very nice in person. I tend to get great comments as well, so very worth the price. The only draw back was, it was missing parts. I tried calling the manufacturer directly, with the number given on the instruction manual. They weren't very helpful and didn't believe me that the part was missing, or the incorrect part. However, when I contacted overstock directly with my concern they were VERY helpful and solved the issue immediately. I was sent the missing/incorrect parts within a couple days! Great purchase! I highly recommend!

I am totally satisfied with this table, and have received numerous compliments about it. The assembly was very easy and only a few times did it require the help from another person.

I have been looking for a storage chest for years for the bedroom of my log house.This fits perfect with the house and is very unique! very easy to put together,heavy solid wood.afterwords I also put furniture oil on it, and it looks very high end.WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!

The material for this is 95% MDF with a veneer glued to it, not a quality piece of furniture. It does look OK though. As far as assembly goes, out of the box, it looks to be very challenging. However if you follow the instructions, assembly is incredibly easy and fast.

Easy assemble, however, not all the hardware was included, so I wasn't able to put the legs on the trunk. But Overstock.com's customer service was very responsive and I should have my missing hardware delivered to me this week. This trunk was shipped without any flaws to the finish. However, the veneer on the side pieces was unglued. Overall, the trunk is heavy and sturdy. I think if the hardware (handles & front latch) was a hammered metal it would make this trunk look more distinctive. I've bought several items from Overstock.com and, unlike those items, this item is an average buy.

My husband put this together quickly and it looks wonderful. It is sturdy and heavy, and is bigger than I imagined. This is an excellent deal. Nice looking piece of furniture for a great price.

This is a nice heavy chest. I have it in my kitchen and have put cusions on it so that it can be used as a bench. It is plenty solid to sit on. I'm probably only slightly handier than the average female, and it took me a bit over an hour to put together by myself. All the pieces (with extras) were there and holes drilled in the spots that were close enough that I didn't have to do any drilling myself. It uses dowling and camscrews to hold it together so you don't need 3+ hands. It's not perfect in that the lid sits about 1/8 inch back from the edge of the base. There were some screw holes that were 45 degees at an angle so there are 2 or 3 screws aren't nice and flush. The seams aren't perfectly tight either. None of these things are obvious unless you're really examining it closely. For the price it's very hard to beat.

I bought this item and two pyramid end tables. I found the end tables to be stronger products than this one. It was easy to assemble; however, I had to make new holes in the back panel and when constructed together, the top lid doesn't seem to fit evenly with the bottom piece. It hangs over a bit. In addition, one of the legs had a crack and on two areas, the veneer edging came off. I had to hot glue on the veneer edging. I was disappointed with this product. I would not recommend this product.

I absolutely LOVE this trunk!! The finish is beautiful and assembly was a snap. I didn't have the problems the people in the other reviews had. It is very heavy, sold wood and it looks GREAT. This is the BEST Overstock purchase I've ever made!

Excellent product to purchase. Exceeded my expectations. Only tool needed to assemble is a phillips screw driver. Think the pyramid end table will be my next purchase.

I'm a mom who put this chest together with my 2 sons, aged 10 and 7, in no time! Heavy, sturdy construction, great appearance, can double as extra seating and a toy chest. Tight hinges that won't shut on little fingers. Would highly recommend.

Final assembled product is handsome, looks well in the house and is well made. But the assembly left a little bit to be desired. Directions are not quite clear and I had to drill new holes for the back hinges. All in all though we ended up with a nice piece of furniture that several of our friends have already made nice compliments on.

I have put together many, many pieces of furniture in the past decade and this one takes the cake. It is by far the worst and most inconvenient piece of furniture one could possibly make an attempt to assemble. You almost have to be a contortionist to get to some of the drillholes. I spent over 2 hours putting together a small coffee table, following every instruction to the very last letter. Several parts had the drillholes on the wrong side making it extremely difficult to assemble in those areas. I finished putting together the table and I went to move it to where I wanted it and the bottom dropped out on me. I have tried reassmebling it but nearly the whole thing fell apart and as we all know, you can

This trunk was what I thought I really wanted.I liked the shape, color, price everything!! It wasn't too tough to put together either but in a short time, the finish is rubbing off on seams and is peeling and bubbling. I don't have a disposable income so I wouldn't buy this again. Be careful in what you purchase!!
