I have spent about four hours now trying to put this piece of furniture together and at this point, it's still only half done. The package comes with directions that make little to no sense, 90 lbs worth of compressed wood and about a dozen different little screws and nails. In addition, several of the ready-made holes weren't big enough so I had to get out the power drill to make the holes bigger. This was a huge project and I had no idea it would be so complicated! I had been very proud of myself for getting exactly what I thought I wanted and for a reasonable price. But since I don't have the time to actually put it together, I really don't know how I'll ever actually enjoy this linen closet. Frankly, I think it could have been designed so it would assemble much easier. Seriously, a dozen different sizes of screws and nails? You need a master's degree in mechanical engineering just to get this thing together!
This was difficult to assemble. It probably took 2 hours to put together. The product is flimsy and cheap looking in appearance. It was definitely not worth the money. I was very disappointed at the quality vs the price. It seems as if I could have purchased this at a discount store for less than 1/2 the price I paid.
This piece has been a great addition to my kitchen. It is structurally sound, and supports the weight of anything you put in it. The assembly is where it makes you question whether or not it is worth it. My husband spent about 3 hours assembling it because there are so many parts, and intricate details. Also, make sure you assemble it in the room you will be putting it. Moving it once built is a feat in and of itself. I am glad I bought it, and I'm just glad I have a handy husband!
I bought this for my daughters room before she was born. It took literally 3 hours to put together. It's EXTREMELY small. Yes I should have measured it, but I wasn't nearly expecting it to be this short. It's made out of very flimsy wood. You can make it sway from side to side with your pinky. It's not worth the money at all.
Of the many storage pieces I have placed throughout our home I believe this cabinet ito be the most bang for the bucks. It is compact, well built and houses anything and everything I could possibly want. It is in our master bath and is a gorgeous piece of furniture. Took a good while to assemble BUT it did go together smoothly.
We love this cabinet. We put it in our bathroom to store our towels. Perfect size and well made. Would love to have another one in black! My husband put it together and had no problems. I do wish the door panel was a little thicker, but it is really just a personal preference. The cabinet overall is excellent.
It is made of very cheap cheap wood or imitation... The door seems it would break if pressed on or over time of daily use... I got it to use in my room and the one good thing about it is that it is a low level. I can set items on top of it nd use as a top shelf. Most Armoire items are super tall. The IKEA version is taller but better quality
We needed a small "storage/shelf area for my pre-teens room, it got the job done with flying colors!
I LOVE this cabinet! It could have many uses. Have been looking for months for something similar....this is the cat's meow! The drawers are extremely sturdy and work well/slide well....they don't jiggle. The shelves are movable and come with more than needed (or at least more than I needed). I keep blank journals on one of the shelves private journals in one of the drawers And art construction paper on the top shelf. Inside the closed door are all mailing supplies and wrapping paper and ties. Also there is plenty of room for scissors, brushes, chalk and other writing implements. I keep the cabinet in the laundry room....it could fit well in a den, a bedroom or perhaps even a dining room....and definitely would be perfect for a baby's room. This is one of my all-time favorite purchases!
I ordered this cabinet for our bathroom. For the price and only $2.95 for shipping, it is a great deal for what you get. I was actually surprised by how heavy the wood seems. Took my husband about 2 1/2 hours to put together with minor assistance from me. He is pretty darn handy so I'm so glad he did it--would have taken me all day! Overall I'm happy with my purchase for the price.
