I only say that I would not recommend this to a friend because I don't usually recommend anything to friends unless they ask. :) I think there should be a Maybe option to this question. This is pressed board and I found it simple to put together, but I am an experienced do-it-yourselfer. The instructions may be a bit difficult for many folks who have not assembled a complex piece like this to understand. It's also a bit unwieldy for one person to assemble, so two would probably be easiest. I needed it for a spare bedroom/office and I didn't care what it looked like because I used a daybed cover that covers the platform anyway. My main concern is that all of the drawer sliders and other hardware are plastic. The drawer handles are a hard plastic and as I was installing them they practically disintegrated. That said, those are easy to replace and I think that for it's intended use for me, it was a fine and inexpensive option - especially with the coupon/discounts I had.

I ordered two of these beds and overall the quality was not bad for the price. However, both beds arrived with the same piece damaged (the long narrow wood below the drawers). Apparently due to inadequate packing. After several attempts was able to get in touch with the company, they were willing to replace it but wanted the serial number located on the bottom of the bed. Since the beds were already put together, it was too much of a hassle to get the serial number and we just rigged it together. I would not order from this manufacturer again.

The grandchildren were delighted with the set and the changes in their room at our house. My husband reports that it was easy to put together once he figured out the many pieces. Storage space is larger than it appears.

Overall this is a good bed! I was a little nervous when it was delivered in a large flat cardboard box. Just take a little time to put out all the pieces and follow the instructions step by step. Even though it says two people to put together, I did it myself and it took about 3 hrs...at a slow pace. Good value for money!

As usual we were amiably pleased with the purchase of this twin bed for my pre-teen daughter through Overstock. The bed was easy to assemble and quite sturdy for the purchased price. We love the fact that there is ample storage for my daughter's clothes with the large drawers below. Since the color is white and neutral, the bed fitted nicely with the electric colors of my daughter’s beddings and walls. Thanks Overstock for another great deal.

I am very pleased with this bed. I ordered it for my 3 yr old son and he has absolutely loved it. The package (which weighs 113 lbs) arrived in good time and undamaged. The instructions were fairly simple to follow although my husband and I did have to scratch our heads and re-read a couple steps several times before we were positive what to do. It took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours to put the entire bed together. My son has been using it for abt 2 weeks now and have had no problems.

After visiting numerous furniture stores to shop around for two twin beds with under bed storage drawers, I was having a hard time accepting the high prices out there in the retail market. Keep in mind I have twin 3 year old daughters and needed to get two twin beds. The price for this bed is great and they are excellent beds; very sturdy and the drawers do hold a lot! The reason I didn't give the bed 5 stars is because they take about 3 hours to put together, otherwise I give them an A+.

I wasn't really sure about the sturdiness of this bed just by the picture and description, BUT I was delighted to find it is absolutely great! It was no problem to put together; my 6-year-old daughter (whom the bed is for) even helped sort the pieces. (She loved being able to choose which color draw pulls looked best in her room.) My husband and son put this together in no time. We just set her mattress on top, and she LOVES it. The look of the bed is very nice as well.

This bed is pretty much what I expected. I looked around for a bit before making the purchase. It has a nice look, fits well in a smaller room with the drawers for storage. I was able to assemble it by myself though not very easily. The white chipped a little when setting it up, but the frame is sturdy. Im satisfied with this purchase.

This bed arrived with a damaged piece, and we cannot get the manufacturer to call back to send a new piece. They are located in Canada and do not return phone calls and only have an answering machine to leave messages. The bed in general, without the cracked piece, is very easy to put together and looks very nice for the money. It's otherwise a nice, solid piece of furniture, and the drawers fit evenly and slide easily. The only problem is if it arrives damaged, you'll never get the replacement part!! I would recommend it if it were not for the customer service issue.

Before purchasing two of these beds, I had looked around town and was disappointed with quality or found them to be over-priced. If you need to conserve space and have added storage, I would recommend this bed. Clean lines, very sturdy and durable with two large drawers. A good product for the price.

Bought this bed for my 90 year young Mom. It is great and works well with her getting in and out of her wheelchair. She loves it too!

Don't bother with this bed. Upgrade! The drawers don't slide properly, one of the slats broke, it nicks easily.

I like this bed. Good for a small room. I am using it with the Comfort Dreams Select a Firmness 14" memory foam mattress also from Overstock, and they are both great. Pretty easy to assemble, too.

Use two person carry, too awkward for one person. Simple instructions. Spent 85% of the time doing inventory and building the two drawers. Handles came in two colors, translucent red and clear. Metallic coated plastic pieces for the ends of the handles. Really cheap looking; probably won't last a year. Overall construction was simple. Things lined up pretty well, never had to "make" something fit or glue pieces that didn't align properly. Good product for the price.

We bought this bed for our 2 year old transitioning from a crib. Bed arrived in 1 box and took about 2 hours to assemble with two adults. Though not as easy to assemble as *** products, all of the pieces were accounted for and no major issues with assembly. The drawers are long and deep but the handles are a little flimsy. Construction of the foundation seems solid and supported an average adult without issue. Mattress sits about 2 inches lower than the top of the bed so be wary of getting a matttress over 8 inches thick. We paired the bed with a 7.5 inch memory foam mattress and the height is about perfect. Overall, this bed meet our expectations for the price.

I ordered two of these for my kids bedroom. It took me good 3 hours to build each bed. Instructions are easy, but requires lots of work, Material is all board and not the greatest quality either. Drawers are biggest disappointment as they are very flimsy. The handle of the drawer holds on to only couple of threads of the screw. At the end, the bed looks decent and my only concern is how long would these last. Also, there were few minor parts missing from the second bed and I improvised to complete the bed. Although the instructions tell you not use the electric screw driver/drill, but be ready with it because you will need it. I needed to drill few missing holes as well.

Pretty good bed for its price range. It went together quickly, and it's solid enough that I can lie down next to her and read to her at night. The drawers are huge and add some much-needed storage.
