Provence Natures Jewels Desk Clock

I was looking for a small clock for my living room, something none traditional and a bit fun. This little clock suited my purpose completely! The clock came very well packaged. It's also fairly heavy for it's size. The back of the clock is covered by a piece of decorative metalwork, held in place by two small magnets. Remove this piece to access the HARD TO FIND battery compartment! I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find out where the battery would go (thinking that it was AA & not realizing it was the much smaller AAA). The door for the battery compartment is at the bottom of the beige plastic compartment. I had to initially use a small knife to pop it open. However, now that I know where it is, I hope I won't have issues in the future. This clock has beautiful decoration, keeps great time, and is an attractive addition to my living room decor. I tend to go for clean, simple lines with my furuniture, so this bit of whimsy is a little treat for the eyes. LOVE IT!
