We received this item pretty quickly. It definitely needs two people to put together - not only to figure out the instructions but also to assist in holding pieces in place, screws, etc. but if you follow step by step not a problem. Took about an hour. It's not too big which fits the intended space well, and it holds all my pots and pans in the two shelves. Looks nice too - not cheap. I put two cutting boards on the surface top. It came with instructions to stain the surface with some oil, and I had no time to do that, but the two cutting boards fit and cover the whole top well. All of our knives are now in the side knife rack, which helps with space as well.

Easy to put together. Holes drilled perfectly. Excellent step-by-step instructions. Wonderful quality. Only one comment--the knife rack and towel rack were the most difficult to install because of the position of the drawer. Use a short-handled Phillips and pull the drawer all the way out while installing. Would buy from Catskillcraftmen again.

Easy to assemble with help; sturdy when complete. I purchased 2 to create a small Island, bolted back to back, without the bacsplash. Worked great.

Confusing instructions. Color is not consistent on all sides. Looks cheap. Way above price range for cart of this quality.

This product is everything it promised to be and everything my kitchen needed it to be. Perfect for extra working surface as well as storage in small kitchens. Easy to install, but takes some time - this thing has more parts than I thought it would! plan for an hour at least. Function-wise, it is great. Drawer opens and closes smoothly, doors work and the knife rack is super convenient. Does not fit all the knives I have but fits plenty of them. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it arrived slightly damaged. Luckily damage is in the back corner and it isn't structural so it still works.

This cart is my first purchase from Overstock and I am very pleased with it. It fits perfectly in a small spot in my kitchen and adds to the counter and storage space. (One reviewer said it had more space than she expected. Perhaps as a result, I was expecting it to store a bit more. I'm using it for small appliances I don't use daily--blender, mixer, popcorn popper. That's about all that will fit underneath.) It's very well-made and sturdy. The wood is really beautiful. The drawer and door open and close smoothly. By following directions, I put it together in about 1 hour. The only trouble I had was installing the towel bar and knife rack (you can decide which goes on which side, which is nice). I had to really twist into a pretzel to reach through and tighten those screws. Eventually did, but it wasn't easy. All-in-all I'm quite satisfied.

I was in the market for a small, but functional, kitchen cart and I saw this one and read its reviews and decided to give it a shot. I was impressed with the amount of real birch hardwood used in its construction... essentially the whole cart, minus the back. Its a solid piece of kitchen furniture and I love the backsplash... keep the cut veggies from rolling onto the floor. :) Two thumbs up for this cart!!

This cart is all that I expected and more. The wood is extremely good quality. There is much more storage than there appears to be in the photo. It is sturdy and attractive. I am happy!

We bought the cart as a gift for our son who has a very small kitchen in a studio apartment. It is solidly constructed and very easily moves from place to place. It apparently took a bit of time to assemble, but our son is extremely satisfied with the result. It looks smart and offers plenty of extra storage as well as a good cutting surface for food prep.
