Purchased this vacuum for basement clean-up. Have two pet dogs who live in basement. I was really surprised the first time I used this vacuum. Powerful suction and excellent quality for the price paid. After using a couple times it seemed the suction had decreased and was not picking up as it did when I first used it. Checked bag and it was nowhere near full. Started looking at the hose and blew on the end connected to vacuum. Dust came out the other end but nothing else. Started tapping the black end that connects to the main tube on the floor and a clump of hair and dirt came out . A few more taps and another clump of compacted hair and debris. Re-stared vacuum and it now has the powerful suction it had when first used. Maybe it just got clogged from the amount of hair and dirt that was present when first used. I will continue to use and see if the problem occurs again. If it does not clog after a few more uses then I would probably give a five star rating.

Easy to use, dependable and powerful, this Prolux Tritan has an amazing 107 CFM of power, sealed HEPA filtration and on board tools. The adjustable power knob on the vacuum allows you to adjust power from quiet delicate vacuuming (like dusting) to full power for deep cleaning. This vacuum has rubber wheels, a long 23 foot retractable cord, and an adjustable steel wand. Whether you have allergies, pet hair, hardwood, tile, carpet or rugs, the Prolux Tritan can handle them all.

The Prolux Tritan compact but lightweight design has an impressive 12 amp deep cleaning motor. Unlike bagless vacuums that tend to spew dust back in the air it uses filtration bags (comes with 6 bags), pre filters, and then the sealed HEPA filter allowing clean air to exit the vacuum. The 23 foot retractable cord, 6 foot hose, and 36-inch extendable wand gives the vacuum a 32 foot cleaning radius.

  • Excellent Vacuum

    This is an amazing vacuum that I love to use in my house. I have been using this for about 30-45 days now and I am extremely pleased with how well it works. The best part is that it works on all the surfaces in my house. On the front base of the vacuum there are several settings that you can use to adjust to your suction needs. It also adjusts to the surface that you are using. I have hardwood floors, tiles and rugs as well as carpet throughout the house. I am so pleased that I can use this one vacuum for all of my cleaning needs and not have to switch between a broom, swifter and other items. This one does it all. I never knew how much dirt that I had in my carpet until I used this vacuum. My previous vacuum was put to shame by this. It dug right into the carpet and pulled out so much dirt that was embedded in there. It is very mobile as well. There are wheels that moves it around as you are vacuuming and it doesn't retract and hit you while you are vacuuming as well. There are different attachments that come with this as well and they are very resourceful. My favorite part of the whole vacuum is the retractable chord. I just press a button and it pulls the chord into the vacuum. That was the most annoying part of a vacuum and this one takes it away. I highly recommend this vacuum.
