My husband and I purchased this to help with drywalling a vaulted ceiling in a new addition to our home. The drywall lift worked great- we had no troubles manuevering it, lifting the drywall, or dealing with troublesome angles. We couldn't find this product at a better price and it worked great!
The drywal hoist was every bit the same quality as version you can purchase at the big box stores for $150-$200 more...Took all the pieces out of box, had it assembled and drywall lifted to the ceiling within 20 minutes. Very handy to hang full 4x8x1/2
The box came torn and open. Wheels looked used. The lift is working fine but I am disapointed.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Wheels looked used and some of the rubber was cracked
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Ok
The description said it can be used for walls. NO! It can't! We weren't doing ceilings, we were doing our bedroom walls, but we're old and weak, so we bought this. When we couldn't figure out how this angled thing was going to hold the drywall on the wall for us, we called the phone number provided and the guy said, "No. It can't. It's funny. I get asked that all the time." It was clear that this lift would be very useful for ceilings, so I would recommend it to anyone doing a ceiling (flat or cathedral). But it was certainly useless to us.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Same
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fine
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? NOT
This is equivalent to or better than a lift I rented from a ***. We are renovating the house and it will be very useful. The cost of a weekly rental and you can keep it!
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? yes
- How is the quality of the product? good
It was easy to assemble and use. The lift was not damage during shipping. I am finishing my basement with 9' ceiling. This lift is a big plus for lifting and holding the drywall onto the ceiling. I strongly recommend this lift for the trade. A back saver. Lowering the drywall is a little tricky with the wheel, can brake a finger if not careful.
The box that it came in looked as though it was dragged from china to Virginia, however only one part was missing and it seems to be working fine.
The box was broken but all parts were there. It arrived as stated and on the date scheduled..Thanks for a good job.
